Most of this whining is massive skill issue because when Corlian spam you out, it’s basically your fault because he saw you first and took opportunity. Every other vehicles would kill you in the same manner if he see pray first, every other APHE will take your T29 or T34 in just one shot. People don’t complain when King Tiger 105mm can penetrate T29/30/34 upper plate from any distance but complain about coelian. Massive lul
i mean the people who complain and made this forum are the ones that shoot its front plate despite it being a panther D hull that is angled at 55° and has 150mm effective armor
Ahhh so that’s what causes that. I was aware that some auto cannons can kill you if they just spam shots at you for long enough, I wasn’t aware of the exact cause of it though.
Their skill issue is problem
Well since most people nowadays play this game like typical FPS so they aim for center mess and shocked when it doesn’t work.
I understand what you are saying. The ZSU-57-2 is broken and I love using it as well as the M42 Duster. American CAS is also a great pain to deal with any country as well. I am just referring to the Flakpanzer 341 players that stomp my team regardless of what country I am playing even if I am top of my team.
us 7.0 is “balanced” LOL
Look, I dont have issues with unnerfing SPAA antiground capability eventually. But, again, some people come to play WW2 BRs to fight in WW2 tanks. Not to fight in pseudo-IFVs, which would likely become meta as armor is worth next to nothing nowadays and mobility rules the battlefield.
Issue into which we run into currently, just at much smaller scale.
AMX-13 DCAs in particular, chassis of AMX-13, same HP/T as AMX 13 sitting at 7.0, and with autocannon that has better flat pen as Bradley, an 8.3 IFV.
Getting jumped by one of these suckers on city map without .50cal is terrible. Sure, I could spawn in AA myself and counter it that way. But as I said previously, Im not here for pseudo-IFV gameplay at WW2 BRs.
SPAAs have clearly defined AA role, and with CAS being large part of ground battles, its not like they dont have anything to do. Properly played SPAA is worth its weight in gold in match if they can keep skies clean and team mates safe.
Just because average player sucks playing SPAAs in AA role (or just sucks playing in general) does not mean we should encourage them to ignore the AA role further and push them to play SPAAs like pseudo-IFVs.
But, again, unnerfing SPAA anti ground capability without fixing these map issues will just make the whole problem worse.
I wouldnt call it punishing. If SPAA is played like pseudo-IFV and its effectivness reaches that of a real IFV that sits at higher BR, why exactly SPAA shouldnt go higher in BR?
Bosvark works perfectly fine when played at its BR. I took it to 7.7 only because it is one of the two SPAAs closest to the BR im playing at aviable to the UK before Falcon, and at this BR Skink just doesnt cut it.
I took Bosvark for my 7.7 lineup for AA duty. Adding APDS belt would not help it in this role in the slightest, because it would still be a 23-2 cannon without any proper FCS.
I really do hope youre not talking about Praga and calling it hungarian >:(
Wait, unnerf the antiground capabilities and leave them at their current BRs? I strongly oppose your suggestion then.
Issue is that at higher BRs tanks are much more agile and quicker to react to threats. IFVs dont present that big of an issue if the tank can easily snapshot them.
But tanks at WW2 BRs simply do not have this agility and ability to quickly react to threats.
Another anecdotal experience, just to ilustrate the point, I was playing FV4202 on abandoned factory, capping B. I was aiming at the corner at the middle road. Suddenly, BTR-ZD appeared. My AP went straight through it without doing any damage, he only then reacted and started circling me. If I didnt go full broken arrow and called artillery on myself, I would be done for, because he simply circled me and I couldnt do anything about it, not even with my tank being spaded and turning my hull and turret at the same time.
AAs are more often than not simply too mobile when compared to WW2 tanks so pseudo-IFV gameplay would pose much bigger issue than match-up of actuall IFVs and cold war MBTs.
With all due respect, that is despicable.
we dont need to have IFV gameplay at all BRs either.
Okay, again im gonna use UK 7.7 as example. Even with your system, closest the UK could get as BR appropriate AA would be either Skink or Bosvark.
Compare that to the USSR getting Yenisei; US, Japan and Israel getting Vulcan; Sweden getting VEAK 40.
Dont you see some imbalance with this suggestion?
I was like “hold the f up, I know this place” and what do you know, I stayed for a week in that building to the right of Apotheke (its hotel nowadays) lol.
6.7 GRB is entirely unplayable right now because of the Flakpanzer 341 spam. Who asked for this ammo buff and why wasn’t it tested before release? It’s clearly bugged and now able to not only penetrate heavily armored tanks it shouldn’t be able to penetrate, but also seems to have an unrealistic amount of explosive filler in it, destroying the heaviest tanks within seconds. This change needs to be immediately reverted.
The ammo isnt unrealistic, i made the report (so it wasnt unasked) skill issue and it will get better once the hype (as always) dies down.
The ammo is entirely unrealistic and is currently destroying the balance of the BR bracket. It penetrates heavy tanks like T34, IS-3 etc. from the front and destroys them with unrealistic/bugged explosive filler. My T34 shouldn’t just vaporize within 2 seconds of coming into contact with it.
Thats not ammo problem, its how gaijins overpressure works. If you shoot it long enough it overpressures. Same goes for 35 mm Gepard etc spam. It shouldnt pen the MBTs but it does this way. Game just gives up after certain volume of fire. We have 40 mm Yorks overpressuring Obj 279s from front aswell.
It overpressures INSIDE of the tank somehow within the first few rounds that make contact. It’s broken. If you don’t believe me, you can go ahead and play 6.7 GRB and see for yourself.
Its holes in armor and how overpressure works. And dw i got nuke in Coelian first game after the patch with it. The other Coelian in team got one too,but i dropped mine first. It was finally doing something again, tho most things i got were from side.
And you think that’s balanced and fun for all players? Maybe it’s not a good idea to defend a bad/broken mechanic when it favors your preferred nation, considering an even worse mechanic could come along for a different nation and reverse the situation on you, don’t you think?
why a t34/is3 can’t kill a panther in the front? totally skill issue
Not issue unique to the coelian.
A T34 can indeed kill the Flakpanzer 341 from the front, obviously. But it becomes problematic when said Flakpanzer can aim at me from 1000 meters and get the first few shots off and kill me instantly with a bugged shell, not even allowing me to aim at it, let alone firing off a shot landing a shot on it.
