just asking, because as i said, that doesnt seem to be the case with coelian, turret racks fill up last. I was just thinking if this couldnt be another possible way to balance it.
Technically yes, tho i suppose you would need to have a graph showing that or so iirc and then overall its an older in game model.
Do we?
I thought that is up to gaijins discretion; IIRC it was forbiden to load the turret ammo rack on tiger IIs from certain point in time, yet we still have that in game as first ammorack that gets filled.
Well, idk but Killakiwi did a report for the 105 Tiger, and he used a graph.
fair enough.
Maybe just maybe, instead of pointing the fingers on the vehicle, and saying it’s OP and trying to give these wierd solutions like move it to 7.3 or 7.7, nerf it (which is not historical), remove the belts, nerf the belts, increase the SP cost, give it wood armour and yada yada.
Maybe just point the way of thinking towards how this game code is broken and how devs fails to implement simple armour modules and coding, bc from what i can see the buff that was granted through @Ghostmaxi bug report isn’t even that big, it just gave it like what 83mm of pen, yes ofc it will kill light tanks, but last i checked and if physics and math still relevant on this earth 83mm can’t pen a 100mm or 200mm of steal on medium and heavy tanks.
So instead of blaming the 341, change the subject on how should armour modules be changed to prevent this problem from happening again (since this problem was and still happening with other autocannons at higher BRs too) so heavy and medium tanks don’t get lol penned frontaly some how by autocannons that shouldn’t pen them in the first place.
You’re not wrong. Nerfing the Coelian would in the final analysis still leave that exploit to be used by other auto cannons.
Just had a battle where the Flakpanzer 341 dismantled my heavily armored M6A2E1 from the front in 15 seconds and I could do nothing. Gaijin really know how to “improve” their game nowadays,
Exactly my point, focus on fixing the problem from its root so it won’t happen ever again.
But that‘s the mock-up everyone is talking about, isn’t it?
Looks like twin 37mm cannons to me.
Since 55mm is supposed to look like that:
Iirc these 3 (Mock up and drawing) are from different time frames, and the model is the 5,5 cm, visible by the fatter mantlet.
I think my suggestion of making SPAA AP belts cost extra SP (like with aircraft) was perfectly reasonable.
But yes, there’s some big issues going on with autocannons and armor.
yeah, sure,… but at this area, in this configuration - the Coelian is DELETING YOU by using it’s AUTO-FED GUNS
so 1 Round on Pixel perfect, vs 120 rounds completly disabling you in matters of milliseconds - sure,…

hey man, all im saying is that gunner can be taken out if coelian is shot there; not that it fixes the problem. If you dont want to do that, thats up to you ✌️
hey man, all i’m saying is that those guns over there WILL be taking your gun barrel/breach before you can even aim up there.
not that it’s impossible to do it (just 0.000000001% chance to do it in time)
if you don’t understand that, that’s up to you ✌️
if you always get caught pants down by coelian, sure, the chance is slim to disable the gunner in time.
you’re showing up a shot from frontal of the coelian, and expect that it did not sees you,…
what do you expect? you think that he is a T-Rex? that if you don’t move he won’t sees you?
are YOU a T-Rex, since youre assuming tank can come into your view only when YOU are moving?
you’re the one implying that,…
you’re the showing a Front shot in the turret,…
i’m the one to simply explains, that if you got that shot, he was looking at YOU, and likely be Firing at YOU
so don’t come up and say that it’s an easy thing to do.
