I’m not a good pilot. But even I have a hard time getting killed by WWII AA. I just don’t slow down or go and kill stuff where AA is not. AA is increadebly dependened on you being close to it. If you are not, you don’t get shot.
How do people believe this
Skink isn’t anywhere near as good as both german SPAA’s mentioned.
Because it has excellent armor for an SPAA, excellent weapon traverse, a non existent reload and a HE shell that has more explosive filler than some medium caliber tank cannons do in their APHE shells while also being quite good against ground targets and having very good mobility bar the reverse gear.
It also cannot get killed as easily as other SPAA by strafing planes.
It’s by all means an excellent vehicle.
First it has to be put back where it belongs, into the hands of the Players.
Wow! … and?
The rest of your post is good, but there are similar and better spaa at lower BRs for the purpose of killing planes. I don’t think it’s very good against ground targets with its mediocre pen.
Well I did specifically highlight that the Kugelblitz is superior in regard to fighting ground targets.
Nevertheless, I disagree with the idea that there are similar SPAA to the Coelien.
The closest example would be the the Skink, which is only superficially so.
Even still, vehicle balance is a contentious point that will always have differences in opinion.
I would personally say that I’m quite a solid SPAA player and that the Coelian has been by far my best experience in playing SPAA. It is in fact one of my favourite vehicles at all and I think that’s reflected in my stats on it.
You can hold your opinion that it isn’t OP, but I will likewise stick to mine.
Remember that you are playing on a mode for tanks, not planes, I hope you remember that.
Similar in capability to shoot down planes. 341’s guns aren’t that crazy for AA. They’re good but not great. R3 T20 for example is 5.7 (lower BR) and is a superior overall AA for shooting down planes.
Delete this thread on the forum because it does not contribute anything, and only you humiliate.
Like which?
By all means, the Ostwind II is crazy powerfull as SPAA and now you get the same but it become immune to overpressure or strafing.
In which world? It’s just a 20mm with limited ammo than can overheat.
It’s also very easy to destroy an R3 from the air.
It’s probably super rare by now but I’m pretty sure that it’s not really worse for killing air targets than the Kugelblitz. They have similiar velocity but the 37mm have better ballistics and can fire pretty much non-stop.
OP dies to an SPAAG, so it must need a BR increase?
Im sorry the vehicle is doing its job?
If so Gaijin should remove planes and AAs, but if not, all should be considered to balanced.
Killing too much or too easily is not the same thing as can kill.
The vehicle is perfectly balanced for its BR, CAS should have to work a lot harder for kills.
Alright these are both exp-based conclusions and we could both stick to our viewpoints
Whats the bet that this dude was in a P-47 and is mad the 341 didnt die to a burst of .50 cals? Its my favorite way to play the Coelian, bait the usual P-47 lawndart player into strafing you, only to introduce them to 37mm HEI
Thats a good trick. Also I think if a CAS player do not know the protection of flak341 and try to shoot you with guns who died should not be taken account in a objective evaluation of flak341’s strength in game
I agree because comparing to Flak341, the Ostwind2 is actually the one that unhistorical
And maybe the day when its back, the winrate of Germany 6.3 would go up high and Gaijin have to raise its BR which is quite possible to happen, because now the only limitation is the sum of them
Simple, make the turret from wood just like in real life.
Well, not until I have spaded it, then add the wooden turret.
So far I would say the Skink is one of the worst SPAAs in game, especially compared to the SA additions and the Jap SU, and all those Russian fast firing oddities.
Rockets are back to being super deadly in a counter to SPAA woes.
