so the Strella has Radar missiles ? thougth so they carry HEAT seekers but yet seems to still hit

It has a dual channel seeker. It can switch between IR and optical. Optical requires a relatively clear beackground to lock but cant be flared.

Countermessures are not a I win button. They can minimise the chance of being hit but never set it to zero. Even the deployment of said counters has to happen under the right cirmustances or else they dont work.
Buying a premium is not making you top gun maverik uber skill warrior.
You have to do a lot research on your own to keep up with that “elitis” folk around here that think they are the hotest.
You might buy the airplane but you cant buy the skill. But with time deidication and ssome love for airplanes and tactics and strategy in aircombat you gona catch up quickly.
I appreciate the speech and not being a complete dick about it, i know and im actually a good polit to an extinct but it dont add up how HEAT seeking missiles hit when flares are deployed
All IR missiles have different flare resistance. This means that once they get within a certain distance, flares wont work because the flares wont pass into view of the seeker.
If you have a certain missile giving you trouble, we can give advice on how to counter that exact missile.

Recently ive been using more dodging moves & ill say my shot down rate went from 9/10 to maybe a 7/10
Do evasive maneuvers will certainly help. Which missiles are you having trouble with and what aircraft are you using?
