No, actually those are bugs / wrong implementation. That both F-4E’s and F-111’s have working CCRP indicators in their sight has been proven, it just has sadly not been implemented yet (or even been deemed not a bug for the Rhino, even though the manual clearly proves it).
I also have to say though that especially Denmark will be tricky now with the new SAM’s, as the bases are really very close to the airbases in many cases, and lofting over such large distances, not sure if that will work.
But the issue there is map design, not the new SAMs.
What other targets can be hit by a stock Su-24? If you’re talking about bases, I’m sorry to tell you, but they will be targeted by many other players (especially fighters, which are clearly faster than bombers), and PVP is out of the question because this aircraft only has four R60M missiles, and the Su-24’s flight characteristics are not particularly impressive.
I use it, however, the stock su24 can’t fly high above the field, which is why I get shot down anyway. Even if I somehow manage to fly high enough that even the fighter jets don’t want to target me (which is unlikely), I’ll have to spend a lot of time flying back and forth, making farming the field inefficient.
The problems won’t be only on Denmark, the problems will literally be on all small maps, because the new SAMs create literally 1/3 no-fly zones there.
They could’ve added a different SPAA for 10.7–12.3, and put the ITO on higher brackets. Damn, there’s already so much broken stuff in sim. Now there are hypersonic Su-24s flying to point I4, and half the bases can’t be bombed without a headache.
