There used to be ALOT of training material on the old forum - aa heck of alot and good stuff too - of all levels of experience and methods.
Not sure if it can still be accessed. Failing that check out this video and this channel, it is bloody good and i used it alot early on in the game, my 1st squadron used this as training also:
It really is not just about getting the kill - that is the possible conclusion, its how you get there that is the important thing - and surviving to keep fighting.

You should know by now people will do what they want to do instead of the objective. This is an RP issue.
This is problem with every team play multiplayer game. Sometimes your team absolutely sucks and sometimes I cant do anything because they wipe out enemy team in seconds.
