Feedback SEAD event

Hi everyone,

I’d like to give some feedback on this second SEAD event after a few games.
So here they are:
-ZSU AI: What’s this AI? 3 out of 4 runs end in fuselage slicing because the ZSU AIs are somehow overused. Even if they’re occupied by an ally, 2 seconds later I end up sliced. Countermeasures, maneuvers, what you want is just hell to escape them, and I’m not talking about their firing range, which seems to be increased. Even on DCS, I don’t have this much trouble avoiding them.

-Spawnkill: Apparently, there’s enemy marking at spawn points to “counter” spawnkill. Yeah, but no, I fly 5km and here I am with an R13 in my 6. I don’t know how it’s done, but I have the impression the area is as big as in a tank battle.

-weather: well, here’s a really funny joke. I appear, I lower my nose a few degrees, and there I am, transformed into a pancake against a rock. What’s more, the clouds clearly don’t stop the SAMs from firing at us, even though we have to stay high enough to avoid crashing. Brilliant.

-post-destruction: I had the right to an autonomous S-75. I destroy a base and maneuver to leave, a missile is fired, but my ZUNI destroy the radar, so I don’t really care… well, no, the S-75 took charge of its own life and came to kill me. Not bad for April Fools, it’s May.

-2 SAM sites: I thought I saw this had been corrected, but apparently not because there are still SAM zones where there are two sites, so you look for one, but another one off the map kills you.

-Team size: This is a personal point, but I think smaller games, less Ace Combat/Honeycomb, and a little more relaxed, would be good. 10v14 or 8v12.

That’s all for me, have a good game.

How the hell do you guys spot the ZSUs before getting turned into Swiss cheese?

I’m used to AirRB, and it’s really hard for me to pixel hunt them without seeing their traces flying into me. Maybe I should be abusing low graphics settings?

Also, what about S75 missiles coming at you without any warning? Is that supposed to happen?

Your comment seems to fit well your username.

One hand we have players wanting no markers in air realistic battles and we have players that don’t bother at all.

If Gaijin introduce realistic battles enduring confrontation, at least they can keep markes for regular gamemodes.
