Yes, should be added, but IMO they should also add it as playable. I know the gameplay would be very boring but flying it would be quite fun for someone like me who also likes civil aviation

no… there should only ever be one AWACS in a match at a time, there would literally be zero gameplay with it as a playable vehicle.
every major nation only has a few (as little as 1-20) of these aircraft in service, so it just simply would not make sense for every player to be able to control one. it is a utility aircraft that can be in the background.
good idea，but this map is too flat may AWACS will make a nuclear attackrun more difficult，it should be designed that can be shoot down not very difficult
There has to be datalink added as a mechanic before we can even discuss AWACs.
