I don’t know but the rare times I been killed by this missile, it feeled weird.
The time to react is way too short in comparison to other Fox3 missiles.
Either it is way faster than every other Fox3 missile or the launch warning only appears below the 16km range where self guiding begins.
Any proves?

Same feels like RWS is triggered waay way too late and you just die from it…But yeah would not be suprised its a bug

The Fakour 90 is basically an AIM-54 with a different motor set up, the AIM-54 has a 30s continuous slow burn whereas the Fakour 90 has a boost to get it going fast and then a sustain to keep it at that speed and increase range, because of that the Fakour 90 especially at 10-30km ranges is going a lot faster than the AIM-54, it also won’t show up as a red diamond because that only appears during the boost phase of the missile which is 30 seconds for the AIM-54 but only 5 seconds for the Fakour 90.

At the range I fight normaly no diamond shows up, the spotting of missiles is bugged anyway because most of the time you see no smoke.
I know it’s boosted, but it feels like double the speed, so I rather think it’s more a problem with RWR triggering.
The Fakour-90 is overall one of the fastest missiles in game at most of ranges, and it’s the fastest at long distances. Beware accordingly and be ready to notch as soon as you are able to spot multiple contrails at the earlygame. That’s the only piece of advice i can offer about this topic, as checking multiple replays about my F-14A IRIAF experience, i can assure you that it doesn’t have any issues with its active radar emmiting signal.

A good weapon for helping destroy what little fun there is at high tiers. Really quality stuff.
