Wow, would you rather be bounced into the air, or killed by a bomb that would normally send you back to hangar/spawn menu?

Why are you so salty about this?

so lets say my very bad aim9j gets flared and kills a teammate my 10k hour account that i have also spent at least 1k Canadian on can just get wiped a bit unfair i know i have gotten chat bans for being quite toxic but i try not to Tk at all unless they try to TK my bud or me or the game is over

Have to say, what a wonderful can of worms opened by Gaijin and the community managers on this one. For me, it’s got to be the firing-from-the-hip approach to this and Stona certainly wasn’t making it any better with the snarky responses.

And it’s been said already but it really doesn’t hurt to repeat it.

If team killing is this much of an issue, then it should just be removed and/or disabled from Realistic Battles. It’s quite literally a win-win for everyone involved.

Honestly I feel like they don’t even care… I think it’s all another way for them to get more money obviously yeah banning completely unjustified TK’s is good even tho it rarely has happened to me and doesn’t seem too bad of a problem, but to me the bigger picture is make these people eventually get perma ban so they start a new account to spend another $1k+ dollars. That’s one of my theories.

Yeah they say spam reports don’t work, but we all know how Russian coding is.

Well the terrible bit is that, who do you report to them to? Not like a Forum Moderator is going to stand against them or time them out, if that’s even possible. Unfortunately, we are stuck with them and I can see a future where they’re moved under profiles labeled “Community Manager 1, Community Manager 2”; similarly to what happened to the Bug Report Managers after that one individual kept pissing players off by denying every NATO vehicle bug report.

According to mods here, what should i do when i see an Ally killing or trying to kill another Ally? Only report him and just allow him to do what he does? And somehow i will be banned if i prevent him of teamkill, by shooting him first?
This is so wrong, i should be rewarded, not punished for this.

I think they did something similiar in COD MW2019. Actually not a bad system.

well according to the game masters when they see 40 or 50 reports of TK its hard not to justify

Exactly, he is just adding fuel to the fire and making more and more money paying players mad. Me personally I will eventually get a sim setup and go to DCS indefinitely Gaijin reminds me of any other Russian dev they do whatever they want without care for repercussion until it’s too late just like Tarkov etc… I’m done with the weird egotistical political bs within the gaming community especially “community leaders/managers who are supposed to be a voice for the people not against them.

That has to be a very small amount of actual players who are doing that I mean I have to admit I have my fair share 2-3 a week out of people talking smack or saying weird outlandish stuff in chat, I only got a 3 day. What i’m saying is there isn’t as much TKing going on as they are acting like. Like I said it has to be a small percentage of people from that 30k players that actually made this a problem. I rarely run into team killers.

i am really bad with the chat when i get mad that is why i took all day to wright anything or i would get a permit chat ban from cussing out the mods i mean i got 2week ban i think it was a bit heavy handed for someone like me who rarely purposely tk

That indeed seems to be the thinking process behind this decision. I can’t think of any other reason. No capitalist wakes up in the morning and says to 25k of their customers they can’t come in to their shop for 2 weeks or months lmao. Those customers will just start shopping with the competition.

However I think this will backfire on them as uncertainty will make players stop spending altogether and banned players will be so disgruntled they will never make another account.
That’s just economics 1o1.

I personally am stopping all purchases until this issue is resolved. Can’t risk wasting money on something that can be taken away so easily the next day.

Imagine a new player, spends 80EUR on Viggen. Goes to ARB, fires ARH into the furball and because he is a complete noob he accidentaly TK someone. Next day he gets a ban for it. I am sure this person would leave a positive review on Steam lol.

Aaanyway, seems like they don’t want to listen to us on this issue because they know better. Afterall we are only peasants to them. Let’s not stop them from making this gigantic mistake and just watch the fire.

I did not expect War Thunder to die this way.

I doubt you’d get banned for 1 teamkill though, and if that player does what you said multiple times, maybe some time off to learn how to play top tier isn’t a bad thing.

I was wondering why there were so few take-off team killings when I played last night and now I know. I am glad the ban hammer is being dropped on team killers.

Would you enlighten us as to how they will get better and learn when they are banned ?😂
