So if my friend and I shoot missiles at each other at the end of an Air RB match just forfun, will we get punished for it even if we both are okay with it?

If ure in a squad u can kill each other without any penalty, at least thats how it used to work. Btw that also works for automatic random squads that are created when u play solo.

I would hope that’s the case. I noticed neither of us gets an SL penalty, so I’d wager we wouldn’t be affected. My concern is that whatever system they’re using doesn’t care if we’re squadmates, and still bans.
I belive other could report you for tk you squad made and u eventually get a popup that say smt like " you habe been reportet several times by other players"

im sorry but this cant be a lie, since ya know, it dosnt seem like any sort of replay is reviewed, its just the ammount of reports
by using basic logic, if the match replays arent reviewd, and just the ammount of reports and/or what is said in the report, then mass reporting is what will get people banned

You play low tier the brs where accidental teamkilling outside of PE-8 and lancaster bombings almost never happen.
You dont play any ARB BR where missiles exist you have zero concept of toptier gameplay in this game despite being a community manager.
You have One game literally just one game in the A-10 where you died instantly probably didnt even fire your Aim-9L thats the closest you’ve come to being at the missile BRs.
So you with one game to your name why are you here downplaying the effect that cracking down on all types of teamkilling will have, you’ve never seen your AMRAAM randomly change direction and kill a friendly you’ve never seen an Aim-9 ignore the F-5 you fired at and switch to the friendly tornado that flew past killing it instead landing you a ban and you never will because you don’t play missile BRs but someone will so why dont you grind out an F-15 or something and actually play the game so you can see just how many accidental TKs actually happen at toptier.
You can delete this post for whatever reason you make up in your mind granted you don’t need one on this forum but all i need to know is that you’ve read it.

There seems to be some lying and confusion.
You are not going to get banned for 1tk. People claim they only did 1-2tk because they got banned.
Same with those banned for botting/cheating.
As for missiles, you all must have zero situational awareness if you are getting accidental teamkills with them often enough to get a ban.

Correct. I had one (partially intentional/justified) TK in the past few weeks, and I wasn’t banned.
I wonder how many of these people are the same people who TK low tier planes when they spawn into top tier.

Hard to say. Going just by the convo, they seem to just spam missiles with zero regard.
Probably a good bit are those that tk on spawn or tk because kill steal

so lets say my very bad aim9j gets flared and kills a teammate my 10k hour account that i have also spent at least 1k Canadian on can just get wiped a bit unfair i know i have gotten chat bans for being quite toxic but i try not to Tk at all unless they try to TK my bud or me or the game is over
Have to say, what a wonderful can of worms opened by Gaijin and the community managers on this one. For me, it’s got to be the firing-from-the-hip approach to this and Stona certainly wasn’t making it any better with the snarky responses.
And it’s been said already but it really doesn’t hurt to repeat it.
If team killing is this much of an issue, then it should just be removed and/or disabled from Realistic Battles. It’s quite literally a win-win for everyone involved.

Honestly I feel like they don’t even care… I think it’s all another way for them to get more money obviously yeah banning completely unjustified TK’s is good even tho it rarely has happened to me and doesn’t seem too bad of a problem, but to me the bigger picture is make these people eventually get perma ban so they start a new account to spend another $1k+ dollars. That’s one of my theories.
