I was wondering why there were so few take-off team killings when I played last night and now I know. I am glad the ban hammer is being dropped on team killers.
Would you enlighten us as to how they will get better and learn when they are banned ?😂
Lmao, you are a troll
For a better transparency we need additional column with number of TKs committed (and maybe another one with number of reports against this player sent).
As for people uneasy about the banwave - start using your brains and don’t shoot near the allies.
ok you say don’t shoot near Teammates but tell my you have never tked because you have shot a fox3 or fox2 and it went for a teammate i have been a victim of this hundreds of times
It depends on the number of team kills - and the played game mode / BR range. Until yesterday there was no deterrence for intended team kills.
-
If you would have checked the pinned “Team killing policy - follow up thread” you might have noticed that we had guys racking up to 70 team kills in a few days - and the auto-ban tool reacted just with 1 day bans.
-
So if you get team killed in Air RB - your match is over as there is no comeback in a “one life mode”. As there are a lot of team kills happening in Air RB and the auto-ban system was no deterrence (due to way too high threshold) a lot of Air RB players would welcome perma bans if tk happen too often.
-
But - gaijin has the duty to fix their missile issues and the IFF troubles of the fellow Air SB pilots.
-
If you look at Air RB as a whole the threat of a perma ban might be suited to reduce the number of runway team kills, reckless game play and team kills by griefers.
So i fully support perma bans for team kills in Air RB. It makes often no sense to continue to play a match (mostly decided as TDM) if you lose 10-40% of your team on the runway…
You forgot to ban NELL26 for international TK with a pe8 in naval battle

Yes, a few times my rocket lost lock, deviated and hit friendly and I understand part of the concerns, hence Im asking for numbers.
I am trying to avoid it by not joining furballs. It helps. A lot.
so you know how frustrating it is when you single out a guy and the furball comes to you and you get tked or your fox2 goes for some level 15 with 2 hours and a j7d
Honestly, fox2 and 3 is not my playground, but I do get it.
At start of this thread, one dude was whining about getting banned because he was unable to identify targets when using TVD in sim.
Thats the effect of selling top tier premiums to the new players…
Go through the tech tree, learn the ropes first. Accidents happen, but will happen less if the players know what they are doing.
Look at the playtime though. Fewer battles yes, but way more time spent in each battle.
that means nothing stona has been playing since 2012 and i have more play hours then stona and i started in 2018
Your reply to a guy claiming that they (gaijin) would hope that banned players would open a new account (and spend fresh money) is not comprehensible as you usually produce rather high-quality posts.
I mean gaijin determines how their game has to be played - and all you can do is to take it or leave it. And as written earlier in this thread: The number of affected players compared to players in a 24h period is extremely low.
If the deterrence of a perma ban helps to reduce the number of intentional team kills i am all in. I actually like this “Punish One, teach a Hundred” approach.
If you’re team killing enough players to warrant a permanent ban, you are either an awful/oblivious player, or an intentional griefer.
I rarely see accidental TKs when playing 11.0 ARB, and I very rarely see them at prop tiers.
It does get more complicated in sim due to captured aircraft/poor quality players. I was just teamkilled in my Mig-21 tonight by another Mig-21 that ignored my follow me pings, and did nothing to get my attention through the chat.
SL penalties for TK already exist. If you TK someone, it oftentimes negates all the profit you made in a match. Maybe instead of a BAN hammer, they could increase those fines. I would be OK if they made it like 200k SL for a TK if it ensures I won’t get a BAN.
Not a win though, people will bomb-> possibly TK. If that’s not possible they will just ram you. One thing Gaijin cannot fix is ramming. Cause your propeller is gonna be broken or gravity is gonna say hello.

If i kill my friend in air rb match does it also count to the tk ?
About 3 hours ago I played a match in which I was accidentally tk’d by another player, the guy begged me in the chat not to report him because he had already been banned for 1 hour and only had 7 days of premium left.
All this because the Fox 2 that he had launched changed target and hit me at the last second.
What points have we reached…
Someone having to beg not to be disproportionately penalized for a simple mistake.
I think they only look at incidents that have been reported by players.
