Could anyone tell me what i’m supposed to do when a god damn mirrage is catching me and shooting a 30g missile at me?

Fire some rockets from a rocket pod?

Dont slow down allowing the Mirage IIIs to catch up to you?

You really have to try your best to not let them behind you, but if it happens anyways you can take some rockets to use as makeshift flares since the magic 1 doesn’t have IRCCM.

ah yes! Don’t slow down okay! Have you tried the flight performance above 1100 kph? Can’t roll or pull more than 5 g’s.

If that happens i would have to slow down to less than mach 1 as the su-7 cant turn or roll above 1100. What happens next? He kills me with guns or another enemy shows up.

the su7 bullies a lot of planes at its own br, it 100% deserves eating the magic 1s

Just keep a long distance from them and try to avoid them at all costs. If not possible, sacrifice 2 bombs for a rocket pod to be used as flares. remember you got some speed.

People need to stop acting like this is a get out of jail free card. S-5Ks on the Su-7 do very little for this

but from my own exp its not super reliable

best way to not die to a missile is just not getting it shot at you

Which is why you have S-24s instead. 4 of them on the Su-7B and 6 if flying the BKL.

Except it’s a lot more reliable than the S-5s since one is a 5kg rocket and the other is 235kg.

Literally everything around your BR? Only a few jets like the F-104/106 or draken have better acceleration and those have 0 energy retention.

lol if you believe it has a better or equal FM to 9.3-10.3 then there’s not much worth discussing here, nevermind the fact you have issues with missiles in it
