Am I the only one who finds it as the best 11.0? Like if people stay very low it nullifies the entire strength of the vehicle, but people end up going high in most matches and I rack up a lot of kills in it.

There is not much real competition for the F-4EJ at 11.0 but 11.3 becomes a large step up in performance with the likes of the F-4E, JA37C, and J-7E.

sure but even at 2 km the 9p is already pretty easy to just spin in a circle and avoid.

sure but even my large flares doesnt seem to even make pl7 or magic 2’s look at my flares even at different movement and flaring patterns each time i watch my deaths in sensor view.

also there is an obvious gap in even ur stats with the f4ej compared to ur average w/r in jets the f4ej for u has a 50.5% w/r while on average u have a 57.77 winrate.

I usually have far more luck with the aim 9j on rear aspect due to the better acceleration and smaller FOV, as sometimes they still hit when they flare

Well it’s a do everything plane specializing in missile count and SARHs.

There are no plane series like the phantom that lets you do so many things at once. Rocket pods for ground targets, bombs for bases, gun pods for head on, 8x missiles (4x IR 4x SARH)

If Gaijin had to create a plane that would maximize SL/RP gains, the phantom would be the result.

look at the f4e at 11.3 only 0.3 br higher it has aim 7e 2’s which can be used all the way through 0-around 4km where as the missile the f4ej gets are the aim 7e’s which only really work at 4km and nothing else as it has a 1.7 second sleep after launch then it acts normally it has better maneuverability as well making it actually useful in close range fights and is actually enough to dodge flared missiles or get gun shots way easier

this makes u way slower making u not able to out run alot of enemies and other planes can just missile u in the face and make u have to dodge it and not shoot them.

its a do everything plane speciallizing in nothing just does a little of everything

The radar on the f4ej adtw is so bad compared to other radars. It never seems to lock on at all except at high altitudes which makes it’s aim7 nearly useless because “Ground Clutter” and in todays meta of flying low.

You can easily counter R24s, just by doing the typical circle looping and throwing some chaff.

thing is when they launch from headon i dont even know a missile is comming and i cant even counter cause my rwr is i band only

Shouldn’t you be able to visually see the missile coming at you? And if the problem is that big, just fly low enough.

Compared to other f4 Phantoms radars. In my opinion, the F4C Phantom’s radar is easier to get locks. Even the f-5’s radar is better at lower altitudes.
