So i been playing the f4c to speed my f4e grind up a bit because playing the a10 early gets boring and i dont think i ever play a aircraft they is so targeted or bullied in my entire time playing game snail please give this thing some love

Its stuck at this BR because it would be OP at 9.7 and utter garbage at 10.3. This game just needs decompression.

Honestly, I would equip the FFAR pods on the outer wing pylons and use them as makeshift flares against jets that fire heat-seeking missiles. The F-4C is okay to play, but it’s definitely up there among the worst actual Phantoms to play BR and variant-wise.

If it had 2 missiles it would be 9.3, but it has a large number of bad missiles and because of BR compression it has to be useless at 10.0. I wouldn’t even play it at 9.7, there are better jets that the F-4C at 9.3-9.7
If they refuse to fix compression they need to at least give this 9Js and/or 7Es (I’d literally give it both, having no flares is a massive problem for this plane)
theres no reason to change one unique model and remove it from the game, just add the F-4D as well
maybe, or gaijin could also do the f5c thing, aka giving us f4cs something like the aim9j because spain used them on theirs (or flares if they did use them), they used them until like the 2000s so maybe they got something
thats not required, usa F-4C’s used 9Js and 7E2s in service in vietnam iirc, but even if the 9J wasn’t used by USA you are correct in that all they need to do is show it was put on a f4c somewhere else
ok so, doing a bit of searching i found this image which apears to be from the f-4c manual, which shows chaff/flare dispensers tho i cannot read properly the ALE model, but based on the fact that says chaff/flare makes me hopeful

As 10.0 planes go, it’s actually rather enjoyable provided you don’t take off and point your nose towards the nearest red circle.
I spent time spading it during it’s time at 10.3 and enjoyed myself. I’ve also had some fun with the Su-17M2 since it’s move to 10.0.
