the biggest issue the mirage f1 has, is that it has the Magic-2
if it just had the Magic 1 instead it could have been easily sitting at 11.0
and it would be somewhat balanced

an engine dosent produce as much thrust when mounted inside an airframe, as on a test bench

another big issue is the radar and the how powerful perform the engines in turns. It’s impossible for that radar to guide from above SARH missiles to an air target in supersonic as low as 100ft as now keep doing in simulation battles. F1C It is just a joke… for France tree be research. That unreal representation in Simulation Battles it’s a hammer on the rest of fighters as F4 Phantom and Mig-23.
Sim is about team comp TBH so for example if they have 8 players and you only have 4 its not going to be a good time.
Then when it comes to BR brackets if your plane is at the min for that bracket and theirs is the max they might have the edge but everything is with-in the bracket margin is kill-able for lack of better words.

i get 20 plus kill games in multiple planes in sim sometimes you meet a good player in sim and get steamrolled…looks like he was fully air to air to so i dont seee why its overpowered…the pilot is simply better lol

Here is a video showing Cuban pilot Alberto Ley Rivas shooting down a Mirage F1. He personally tell on the video how easy was the real actions.The Mirage group was blind. That Cyrano IV from F1C is as blind as the South African F1 downed IRL. In War Thunder is the contrary. Mirage F1 is the king and MiG-23ML struggling to do everything…
That is not simulation guys!! You want research France you better get the fighter can do it. Not something invented for you to have the job and fun secured.
How is this relevant to your point about the Mirage F1C and how it plays in SIM ?
IMO just seems you want to stand on your soap box and declare that its not fair because a another player was more experienced in his plane!

You are talking about Simulation? You better bring your proof to keep slapping the face of fighters that in real life did the job.

Also simulation is in reference to the flight controls of the aircraft and the fixed camera to the cockpit to and the fact there is no enemy markers and the difficulty of the mode!
I don’t see what real life combat experience would have to do with War thunder Sim game mode!
Also if he thinks that, example, radar is overperforming, he just has to compile a bug report like any other of us, instead of making a topic complaining about a plane being op, which is definitely not. Plus gaijin does not accept pilots statement about a certain aircraft as reliable. Real life air combat is quite different to games or simulators.

There is nothing wrong with the Mirage F1C radar its defiantly not OP also the 530F is pretty meh TBH.
Yeah as you said they can file a suggestion I don’t know what on as far as I know there is nothing wrong with the Mirage F1C IMO.

I couldn’t agree more. 530F are crap, chances to get a kill with those are quite low. It’s easy even to miss bots. Magic 2’s are ofc good, but overall plane performances aren’t.

Is a game that make players research better aircraft using premium fighters like the F1C. The Rafale is being research killing continuously fighters that in real life perform better.
If this is a game why you don’t tell Mirage F1C pilots. “Hey guy fun and research France with weak fighter is over” the game with unrealistic avionics will be change soon. That will be very understandable.
So coming to a threat to tell as hold it and accept your losses because it is a game. Wow!
I’m doing my money in a serious way and my MiG-23ML cost me money and work hours. At least we should have results that fit the real war actions

don’t forget they nerfed the magics so if someone pops flares even in full af it most of the times goes for the flares (from behind) only good aspect is sideshots with high kill ratio :P
