Not everything has an AIM-9G. Most of the aircraft in the BR range have AIM-9B, AIM-9E and copies. Good luck hitting him with one of those.
They still arent meant to have nearly untouchable enemies.

I learned to outfly people, not wasting my energy like an idiot and maneuver properly ? If you head-on with props, you’re a bad pilot period. It’s the second worst thing to do in Air RB, right after diving on the first target you see.
Avoid the head-on and either setup for a reversal or extend away to regain energy for another pass. It’s the basic of the basics. The F104A should always take the second choice by the way, since it’s faster than everything else and can easily outrun any missile at 9.3. As fast as Magic 1 are, they have very short range just like the R60. On a F104 going faster than mach 1, the magic 1 won’t hit shit beyond 1km.
Again, used properly, the 104A is straight up impossible to catch for 99% of the planes it faces. It has to fight 10.0 and above plane to meet its match, which is horrible balance.
Are you stupid? Every event you have people spamming the same plane. There were nothing but A-5Cs on the enemy team every single day during the event. The F8U isn’t even hard to beat. You people whine about everything.

the yak 38 is literally fighting F86s with R60s. but you complain about the A-10, a sub sonic plane that takes 5- 9 minutes to actually get to the fight, and you can easily avoid by flying high, or are you one of those doolies that fly 100ft off the ground then wonder why you get killed by missiles.
So then you are complaining about… getting killed by a plane in a game with planes, trying to kill you?
They should change the BR of planes according to their access to fox-3 missiles. Fox-3 planes should have a seperate pool of matchmaking.
I love f16s but I never tried the one I have in chinese tree the sole reason is because it does not have any fox3 missiles and after spending so much time on the chinese tree I won’t grind another tree.
War thunder has so many players already, I don’t know why they refuse to add different game modes.
Imagine a dogfighting mode where you dont have any missiles, just your cannons.
Unfortunately, it’s just another plane feeling the side effects of BR compression. The same way the F-4F ICE is at 13.3 when there is a Mig-29 with Fox-3s also at 13.3 even though the Mig-29 is an infinitely better aircraft or, if you look at ground, how the Leo 2A7HU sits at 11.7 despite being clearly better than every other tank at 11.7.
