not by much 5 miles tops, while the mica has thrust vectoring and is much more difficult to notch
it’s much more difficult to notch and you’re massively over hyping the r77 range it literally can’t hit targets past 15 miles, and the rafale is superior in performance to the su27sm so the missile will also have more energy so range.
It range like what 6km? Any missile is hard to notch in that distance even R-darter/derby
same with MICA and I doubt it Rafale can make it hit pass 15km i used in on mirage 2000 fly at mach 1+ it rarely hit anything pass 10km
And mile is more than KM so yeah that MICA range
Whats that supposed to mean?
Dont disrespect derby like its a great missile very light and accelerate very fast while having mid range
My biggest issue with F-15I (ground out the recent event primarily using it) is the teams you get put on. Or maybe I’ve just had some shocking luck in it. Happy to admit skill issue as a ground player, but the amount of times I’ve seen F2000/Rafael just ripping through the largely US team (with a few Israeli jets). It’s not uncommon to find yourself without a team immediately after the initial FOX-3 joust.
Same here, really struggling to enjoy Israeli aircraft due to the teams, especially when compared to a matchmaker like China or France, which has amazing teams every match.
The aircraft itself is fine, but I detest the BVR playstyle and as a result tend to avoid playing air rb, my ground stats are very good though, lil Ra’am the Pantsir killer
I’ve neglected Israel ground due to the thought of never ending M48/M60 variants. But am, starting to work on it now:
And yeah, I often find the AIM120 to be quite a boring missile to use. I’d rather BVR with F90, honestly. I actually find most joy when I get an operations match and can take a mixture of GBU-39/AIM120. The GBU-39 have a lovely range, and they’re light enough that you can still partake in the air battle / support your team, while you make your way over to the ground units. It’s games like these that I enjoy the most:
Though, most games I’m running with the 8xAIM-120 load and trying not to fall alseep.
Same here, got gifted the Ra’am sagol and have been slowly making my way through ground, although I probably haven’t helped myself by bringing 3 Israeli top tier CAS jets and the AH-60 and playing it at top tier as opposed to just spamming the Sagol and Kurnass 2k combo
Still got it though, had success recently given the premium spam
Having finished the entire Israeli ground tree, 9.3 is a really fun lineup for Israel imo and probably their best lineup in the entire tree. 11.3 can also be okay, but at that BR the Merkava Mk.3s are pretty mid and the Namers are just subpar. individual vehicles wise the Sabra Mk.1 is incredibly fun and good at 9.7.
12.0 is okay, but even after the reload buffs the Mk.4s are still below average, bordering mediocre.
Yeah my man, I know MICA’s are good, I just don’t want to play with Rafales
Cheers. Israel 8.0 looks pretty good - in the sense there are 7 bloody tanks there, lol.
btw, what’s your preferred CAS loadout in F-15I for GRB? for future reference.
Nice.
Yeah 8.0 is also a fun lineup, only problem it has is compression meaning it faces 9.0 a lot.
The Magach 5 specifically is a bit of a hidden gem (hidden from Gaijin’s balance department I mean).
The issue is, US and Israel both get more CAS focused heavy hitters at 14.0 (hopefully even heavier hitting soon with SPICE & GBU-53)
While France and UK/IT/GER get jets with more focus on air superiority (in newer & more advanced configuration to boot)
If they added F-15C (late), F-15E (late), F-15SA, and F-15I (late), this would be fixed
But best case scenario we wait until next update for any one of those.
I hope to see Spice250 and SDBII join the game as soon as possible.
Two. An unnamed “High Power” 5th gen prototype AESA, which was tested on an F-2, and one made by Toshiba for GCAP. Also, need i remind you japan made other AESA innovations well before the US, such as GaN, combined air/ground TWS, and the first missile with an AESA.
Have you actually been following along with japan’s AESA development in recent years? They are easily leading the world in their development. Plasma tube frequency filters, morphing array beamforming. Track before Detect capabilities. SAR occlusion detection for detecting stealth objects. Non-stationary multistatic radar networks. Discrete T/R modules without the need for duplexer LRU for mixers. True multi-beam AESA scan and track methods.
No, but there are very classified radar developments here in US
Classified doesn’t mean better. We know for a fact Japan is developing all these radar technologies, how many do we know for a fact the US is developing? like, true multi-beam aesa scan and track records (which they’re literally working with japan on). Even on the “classified” end of stuff you have like, a dual frequency SAR, which we know nothing about besides it’s being worked on cause, classified, and even then there’s comparable stuff already existing in the non-military sector, by organizations like ISRO.
So what is A-12 series aircraft then? When it comes to US stuff classified generally means better, it’s been a track record for some time now
Btw do you have any links to stuff about the joint radar development? Seems pretty interesting to me
the A12 oxcart is unclassified bro
Now it is. Not when it was made
And I think there are still a few things classified but someone will have to check
