I don’t think it’s the first time for everyone to play this game and learn about Gaijin’s practice, which is already a kind of norm. Every time the version is updated, some contradictions should be provoked.

If you cared to look at the topics discussing this, you’d realized that even American mains want the Israeli one to get indigenous weaponry for ATG. A majority aren’t looking for the Israeli one to be nerfed.
Unless I’m mistaken, both are using the same engine (PW-220). Is that not the case?

To be fair, the R-77 is inferior to the 120, the planes are one trick ponies, and the radars are actually bad. This isn’t even a complaint, it’s just how it is at the moment. I find no enjoyment with Russian planes compared to the American ones.
Russian planes still are good, despite lacking in long range air-to-air ordnance, but if it turns into a short range fight, their missiles are unmatched, both IR and ARH missiles have thrust vectoring - R-77 can even miss you initially, just to turn around and get you on its second attempt… and don’t even get me started on the CAS and helis.
After using it for awhile, the Abrams is actually really fricken good, but it has quite an insufferable weakness of often losing the turret drive AND the engine when shot from the front, making it much more vulnerable than I personally think it should be.
Isn’t that true for most MBTs? The only thing that makes this worse for Abrams is that EVERYONE knows where to aim to cripple it. And f.e. Ariete and Type 10/90 are total paper compared to the Abrams - at least the Japs have the reload to compensate for it, unlike the Ariete, which is basically an Abrams without armour AND ammo stored by the loader’s feet.

Eh, short range fights are not that common (unless you just bum rush to the center). Even when they do happen, I have found Russian planes are extremely lacking. This is not to say they need a ridiculous buff in missiles, but rather they are one of the lowest priority threats in game right now.
The only ARH missile I’m aware having thrust vectoring is the MICA, the R-77 is just ridiculously manueverable off the rail.
I mean, okay. If we’re willing to ignore that the F-16 by itself is a better CAS platform. And even the KA-5Xs are not the most obnoxious threat, it’s the nations that have FnF weaponry. Russia has been dethroned from the annoying heli department, yet NATO players are allergic to using AA when it actually matters.
The Ariete is just a sad vehicle by design, the Type 90/10 also has better gun depression angles due to the hydraulics, making it a better ridge warrior than equivalent MBTs, so while I lose armor, I have more areas to use for cover and firing. Most MBTs I have used do not have this bad of vulnerability, I either lose the turret ring or engine, often not both at the same compared to the Abrams. Even getting shot in the Type 90/10 feels more survivable than the Abrams since I can usually move or respond.

I understand where people are coming from about the f-15E’s coming to the game and I understand the annoyance of the Israeli one having better engines, unfortunately this is historically correct as the f-15E’s in American service started out with the 220 engines and if I’m not mistaken there are still some out there flying with them today. The Israeli f15E/I were purchased with the 229 engines so they ultimately have to get them as warthunder likes to try to be semi historical, but at the same time I really don’t see an issue with them giving the f-15E its 229’s. Not having Mavs is definitely not the reason for the “buff” to the Israeli one as in my opinion mavs with their buff are still kinda meh compared to what other nations have

Yes I know and I get it. But there are 3 similar top tier planes in update. F15E gets engines from 1980s, later batches were delivered with 229s. F15 I is from 1996 with 229s. F15 E gets nerfed weapons and engines. F15 I gets even more nerfed weapons. And third gets only nerfed weapons and Su 34 is 2014 aircraft. Its little bit overkill balancing if you ask me. And there is also a AESA radar that F15 E have in 2014, upgrade was from 2010 to 2014, its public info. Will there be 3 versions of F15 E in game later? Whats going on? If you balancing F15 E and F 15 I it make sense, but how SU 34 fit in? Why not give F15 E engine that was/is in most airframes? And I dont have US top tier air so… I dont even care. Its just weird.

If this type of behavior acted on their threats to move to DCS they’d be banned from every server and forum, and/or learn to behave better.
The amount of emotional misinformation that comes from toxicity around War Thunder… almost makes me think we have League of Legends players.
