The radar on the f15a loses lock more than any other jet iv used. Im not even sure why most of the time.
For eg. I get lock, the enemy actually turns into a more head on aspect and its gone…
Looks like its errenously auto-switching from PD to MEM to “maintain” the lock, but the target should still be tracked via PD and then being defeated by chaff, especially large chaff or being affected by ground clutter.
Just needs to be bug reported.
But just pay attention to the top of the radar where it will either state TRK PD or TRK MEM. If it says MEM, maybe re-think the shot, or toggle the mode back to PD (I think you can do that)

just switch back to ACM and relock
