F15A in 12.7 BR

Oh I’m sorry for being relatively new to the BR, I’m still used to the fat brick that the F-4E Kurnass 2000 is

I guess its worth a shot to Notch, I’ll get better eventually

Excellent mentality. We need more people like that.
I wish you good luck

What’s the recommended launch range for the AIM-7Ms

within NEZ
usually within 12km for me, depends on alt

What the NEZ is gets explained in detail there

What’s your keybinds, I need to make some adjustments, my keybinds for the radar prevents me to notch properly

I have cyclic targeting in TWS on

mishandled that 2v1

What are your keybinds that cause that?

I didn’t change much of the Keybinds from when I first got my Keyboard and mouse, everything is pretty what Gaijin had presented with some changes, I really didn’t change anything cause I was primarily a CAS guy

I highly recommend avoiding gaijin’s default ALT+X key combos, they suck

Hmm… Not sure then what is “preventing you from notching properly”

LALT + ASWD is standard controls for radar, changing weapon selection and changing Countermeasure deployment

Ah I see.

My set-up is:
Note I have CTRL and ALT as buttons on my mouse, with CTRL very easily used at any moment

Radar controls on 1-5, with CTRL modifiers for somethings like swapping to IRST, resetting the radar position, ESM and IFF Filters

W-S for throttle (CTRL W+S for Pitch)
A-D for roll
Q-E for yaw

F for change weapons
R for combined CMs (I have this set to both deploy flares and deploy chaff instead of deploy countermeasures because it ignores CM selection and then I can use CM selection with periodic deployment to spam chaff in something like a tonka)
CTRL+Q for flares
CTRL+E for chaff

Space to fire
Lock target is middle mouse button
Then I use press & hold ALT to adjust things like the radar direction though I might setup some proper keybinds for that at some point

How did you get the down key bind for Radar/IRSR tilt control axis. It’s not letting me select down by itself without automatic moving the cursor to the Cancel button

Lowkey i find caps lock as a better operator key then alt, just cause it allows Op + Z/X/C/V, which gives quite a few extra quick to reach keybinds in addition to the Op + WASD for radar controls.

That I would do, except to make CAPS LOCK usable in other games (well, and to stop toggling CAPS LOCK when using it as a keybind) . Ive actually got it swapped with Tilde. So its not usable as a modifiier in WT like that. Though I might need to check to see if Tidle can be used as a modifier.

guy?
