no joke just a paper weight with no gimmick thats the aim54 each aim 54 weighs similar to a 1000LB bomb
in it’s current state kinda, yeah. only use case is if you get really high and really fast it is quite fast with great range, but because gaijin refuses to give it it’s IRL g pull because their game totally isn’t arcadey and it would have to totally do a roll to force dual plane because otherwise the realism would be only nearly indistinguishable from IRL rather than still not quite perfect, as well as the fat that they refuse to make lofting better on it and other missiles, and they won’t do anything about it’s unrealistically high drag on all missiles due to the atmosphere being thicker than porridge because that’s totally not arcadey and dual plane needs to be modeled perfectly in this arcadey game because why not. gaijin’s logic will make me go insane one day

If would be faster, have more CMs, more ordinance, the ability to sweep its wings, more fuel and FnF missiles. Once you give it a buff like that it would have to go up.

yeah it’s pretty clear you just have no understanding of the meta or how weak the F-14B currently is considered by anybody with some idea of the game.
Once again, the F-14B is currently very weak. Giving it AIM-9Ms does not even put it in the upper half of 13.0s. The Su-27 would still be 5x stronger.

if anything, as i have stated previously the aim-54’s need a buff, since as it currently stands all they do is punish people playing older jets with bad rwr, which really just isn’t fair, or fun for me as an avid tomcat player. i want to be fighting otherr 4th gens more, not just watching another f-4s and mig-23ml get slammed by something they didn’t know was coming to get them

You clearly don’t understand that the jet having access to aim-54s is what put it at its current BR. You know, like how it was undertiered for the longest time.
You could remove the AIM-54s and move it down, or leave the aim-54 and it would have to stay where it was.

So you know that if you give it AIM-9Ms then another jet becomes the worst 13.0. Do we give it a buff? Do we give a jet AIM-9X? Or better AMRAAMs? Or what?

4 aim-9Ms, and FnF missiles, a ton of CMs, a amazing flight model, speed, more fuel then its contemporaries, the ability to sweep its wing, would add up to moving up its BR.
