I also feel that maps are way to small for jets like the F14’s, its not acceptable to get pinged and locked on just 2 minutes after spawning in, if we ever get to see ramjet missiles we need DCS sized maps

The f14A should be turned into a late model and f14B should be fully reworked into the f14B(u) and both F14D should have Aim-7p-2
Personally I think one f14D should get aim120a at 13.7(decompression)

Not that fake it just didn’t receive the last software update for aim120A🤷🏽♂️ had it continued just another year or 2010 supposedly it should had lasted till 2010 till they pushed it to retire in 2006 it would had AMRAAMs
Plus that would be to late as multiple vehicles are already a stretch in game look at the f102A witch for some bs reason it can’t even get its regular missiles

Yes, which means fake, because no F-14D flew around with AIM-120s in service. You’re taking a service jet who had a real career and putting something on it that it never actually had, even if it got close to having it on a prototype
They still had the technical capability for it even shows up in the f14D manual

There’s already suggestions for the F-14s you want:
IMO F-14A late should be added as different vehicles because configuration is ways different from 70s.
Essentially, F-14A late is just F-14B avionics with TF-30s.

Iirc Supposedly gajin isn’t really interested in adding another f-14 I remember someone asking and iirc they weren’t interested in adding the nf-14 due to them being a laboratory of experiments although I could be wrong as this was when the first f14D was add
War thunder may not be like DCS, but there’s a lot that can be taken from DCS and be brought to war thunder, a good example would be the F14B being able to carry AIM54 MK 47 and mk60, aim7p, aim7f, aim7MH, and also the AIM54C in DCS perform better and have a better chance of landing a hit then war thunder, with all the documentation on the pheonix there shouldn’t be an excuse for it to perform this bad in war thunder, and the F14 also fights su30’s that have better missiles then it
