F117 br is unreasonably high when its "stealth" doesnt even work at all AND has no way to defend itself offensively or defensively,

It does exist

Moving F-117 down from 10.0 is an insanely dumb idea lol

It works pretty decently in most cases. Biggest issue is that the air spawn is always in the same spot so spaa know where to look.

When i come back after rearming, i side climb and come in from the side. I have had cases where multiple spaa like osa just dont spot me because they just watch the air spawn.

Ngl it would be very strong with glide bombs, being able to drop them undetected and without having to get within SPAA range would make it a lot more viable

nope. every spaa instantly kills you the second you spawn . can be upteired to 11.0 cus of its br. blatantlyunbalanced. 9.0 suits it best

also they clearly dropped something here to distract your missle

either that or ur using the shit9ps

your missle clearly went for the GBU instead, giant hunk of metal the size of a plain. baiscally two giant chaff

Yes

Why did that happen?
Oh right
Because the F-117 has stealth modelled

Moving the F-117 down in br means it fights stuff that

  1. can’t see it
  2. can’t even engage it if they see it

At the same br no less.

Genuinely what is this gonna do against an F-117

These two wouldn’t even be able to engage

Same as gepard

Same boat as French roland

I honestly don’t know about the rapier tbh

Please explain how 8.0 spaa will be able to deal with a jet dropping gbu from 6km+ out.

You dont have to fly in a straight line from spawn. You are allowed to notice the spaa and disengage to find a new angle of attack.

Well they are going to properly model RCS in the near future so nothing should change until then.

You mean approach from an angle where they are not staring at with their optics and relying on their radar to provide warning? Nah… too hard, demand it be down tier until it’s un killable!

The nighthawk works extremely well at altitude and is really fun to play when you do so (~35,000ft, most radars wont pick you up and the few that can physically dont angle that high at that br, on top of the fact that players have like no situational awareness sometimes)

Now the problem here is that in the 37 matches i played with it in grb not a single one lasted long enough for me to climb that high.

Very fun in ground sim though, my only death was to a guy who was solely focused on me in a 2s6 and managed to get me from 20km straight above him in a passover where i got distracted by thick fog and the entire map being covered in clouds… that and aircraft who target me on sight are lame, but other than that very fun in ground sim, 7/10 reminds me of the LOSAT at 10.0 vs the M901 at 8.7 or wherever it is, the m901 works in way more situations but when the losat gets a good one its way more fatal. Still prefer the m901 though. Even using it at 10.0. Id say the same for the b52, but i wouldnt dare to bring it to 10.0, itd only be slightly effective there if it had any form of guided munutions

I feel like in grb MAYBE the nighthawk could get a higher up spawn or get moved to 9.7 (or 9.3, though thats a long shot)

I know if i was in a 7.7 aa i would not want to have to fight a nighthawk fully downtiered if it were 8.7. The only reason the -52 is so low is that it still relies on regular bombs coupled with horrid maneuverability, limiting its effectiveness

Or spawn them in a larger area rather in a single air spawn point that has every SPAA in the match staring at it with thermal optics, stealth doesn’t really help when it’s getting visually tracked the second it spawns.

Right lol, stealth is only so effective when console players basically get a free optical lock that works through terrain

I hadn’t even considered how cracked that system could be when combined with a SACLOS missile…

Meanwhile it takes 1-2 business days for the bombs to land and increases your TK likelihood by a considerable margin or of course, the enemy just moves out the way by then.

Also, enemy planes go BRR ofc.

yes it does

IR missles. since strellas somehow see me from over 6k out im sure it will be fine. even 9.7 suits it

As a console player I can confirm it is

F117 gets reduced heat signature as well. ESPECIALLY front aspect, like when its flying towards the ground map and guiding in the bomb.

It is targetable by IR AA’s, but not from longer ranges.

For reference, from the few tests I’ve seen lock ranges for ozelot (stinger) and imp. chap. are about 6km and 5km respectevly. Probably more for strela. You get the idea.

i get slapped by stellas 6k out frontally so it doesnt work lol
