I haven’t take a look at it’s pylons yet. But how much is the total weight when you bring like 8 aim-120 and replace the missing 2 with I assume double rack aim-9m? Again I havem’t look at the pylons

yes, it gets 120. But it hasn’t been implemented yet. but they double drop, vs flankers that single drop

iirc, that was something to do with the Super Hornet. I’m not sure about that one

I wouldn’t know rn, but i think it gets decently lighter if you drop those 4 extra amraams (you cant carry just 8 easily without the plane being asymmetric, you can have 5 on one side and 3 on the other, to get 8, but then you only get one double 9M rack)

Well, US trialed BOL on their Legacy hornets. Other nations also use BOL on legacy hornet

F18c late shouldn’t be 14.0. its 13.7 material at best. The current fm is overperforming in terms of thrust. maybe if they give it the apg79.

The Gripen is 13.7, the F-16C/AM/A OCU is 13.7, the J-11A is 13.7, you get what I’m saying.

We need more BRs above 14.0, not to stick 14.0s down.

The 3rd best airframe at 14.0.
If F-18C is bad for 14.0, that would mean Su-30SM, and F-15s are bad for 14.0, and we both know they’re all fine for 14.0.

F-18C has excellent acceleration, accelerating as well as Rafale and F-15C/JM.

In what way? Someone argued it’s underperforming earlier.
What is F-18’s correct sustained turn rate according to you? With what fuel load and weapons load?

the 18C Late out accelerates the F-16C.
it shouldnt, it really shouldnt. there has been multiple reports about it over performing
