The MiG-23 is just a good plane for its BR but can be countered.
The Sea Harrier would become be a plane people complain about if gaijin gives it all of its IRL capabilities.

dude, when i played with the mig-23m, i never suffered how im suffering with the mld rn, even in an uptier with 23mlds, my r-23t gave my a lot of kills

I remember MIG-23MLD players were perfectly fine with their planes stomping on F-5Cs, F-5Es and F-4Es with their R-60M and R-24 spam and agility because “being outclassed by higher BR planes was only natural”.
Suddenly, MIG-23MLD being outclassed by a plane a full BR higher is a problem.

And MIG23MLD ruined 11.3-10.7 as well, for some jets the RWR could even not detect mig23 launch the missiles. For F18, at least MIG23 could use speed escape and R24R against

Happens offen your rwr cant pick up the band and you die example dont know if it still does it but id never get rwr warnings from R3R on mig21
Everyone focusing on the wrong aspect of the post here, it’s about the F-18 being egregiously under-BRed. Not anything about the MiG-23MLD, it’s just a plane he used as an example of what he plays at the BR.
The fact that near nobody addresses the F-18 part tells me they think it’s fine where it is and want an excuse for it to stay there.

F/A-18A should be 12.7 F/A-18C early 13.0 ideally most techtrees need a stretch in br for balance reasons we need 16.0 gaijubbles

Yes, For most of F4, like F4E and F4EJ, MIG23MLD is much more dangerous than F4S, u don’t even know if the missiles is already launch
