I’ve fought against many a competent MiG-23 player and before the Harrier buff it was completely one sided with me losing lol.

After the buff not so much.

This is in SIM however. Where I don’t really feel the MiG-23 is OP

In air RB with 3d view the R-24R is just a little too broken to be left at sub 12.0

no wonder because youre flying a MLD getting trashed by the hornet instead of flying a plane that is getting trashed by MLD

i just want the su-30sm to chill with the thrust vectoring, im not very interested in playing with it cuz rn im suffering what its more intense in 14.0.

Be grateful gaijin likes your plane enough to actually give it thrust vectoring the Harrier was the first plane to do that IRL ever. Yet it still even after 5 years can not do it in game.

the harrier has manual thrust vectoring
the su-30sm has automatic thrust vectorin

Both are controlled by pilot input

What the SU does not have is 5 mini reaction control jets blowing high pressure air over the extremities of the aircraft keeping various airflow elements in check

what kind of thrust vectoring did the harrier have that it does not have ingame? genuinely curious

The Harrier could use VIFF to improve STR and ITR by several G and with a few degrees of nozzle down was able to maintain controlled flight at over 40 degrees AOA

In game the nozzles generate 0 difference in pitch rate have almost no change in acceleration and the max AOA achieved full stick back is like 22 and the plane begins to stall out
