The F-5TH in War Thunder at 13.0 with 2x Derby and 2x 9M sits at a bad spot in Air RB with much better jets at the same br Su-33,JA37DI F-4F ICE, F-4E AUP, Tornado F.3 Late and somehow the F-14B being the same br as F-14D, with everything at 13.3 and above being undertiered by 1 br step some even 2. BR raise to 15.3 when?

F5 TCU isn’t perfect but the grass always seems greener on the other side. But yeah raising the BR cap would be a good first step but gaijin doesn’t like that
by 13.0 that airframe is finally seeing things to overcome its overperformance yea. harriers arent them lol
Decompression is always needed. this game could still feel compressed with BRs up to 20.0
i agree with the sentiment but the real question is, what could it use irl? are some pylons limited to just fox 2 instead of using both fox 3 and 2?
if possible a 4x fox 3 loadout would be great to have in game since i have to admit, i never see em in game and the only time i did it was absolutely diddled by a fakour like 2 minutes in the match (his fault for not hugging the ground or nothing but still…)
very true on the Harrier’s dont know how all these diff airframes are same BR now the F-16XL is in the mix too and just remembered the J-8F too i think we just need 15.3 these 13.0-14.0 area is just not good
I haven’t played the F-5 SuperTigris, but access to good IR missiles like the 9M and Fox-3s means it won’t be able to go below 13.0. Here’s a clear example: the Kfir C.10 can carry four Derbys, but without a good IR missile (the Python 3 is poor at 13+ BR), it struggles significantly on certain maps. That’s why I prefer playing with two Fox-3s and two good short-range missiles (9Ms for the F-5 and Python 4s for the Kfir.)
i think we just need 15.3 atp 13.0-14.0 is just horrible and with even more premiums coming soon in this br range idk
