How? It is slightly faster in acceleration, and that is it. That does not make up the slightest for the lack of full aspect, which is much more effective in this BR range. The only other difference is 0.5 degree of Fov which, I mean does it matter?

Depends on the plane doesn’t it, (more or less) MiG-21 or (More or less) A-10 makes a hell of a difference.

it is much better, just play the pl-5b correctly and its better than aim9l´s.
the shorter acceleration time also helps the missile to be less visible.
