Sorry but i have to say that someone who hasn´t ever played the F-5C and is just lvl 71 in game and has 1.400 (350 in a J-7D) matches isn´t allowed to say the F-5C is better or worse. My opinion!

Same. I already have experience with the Mig-21bis, and I could’ve flown a near copy at 10.7. Only tradeoff is no all aspects, and fewer missiles. But the missiles are better than R-60s, which are found on the Mig-21MF and SMT.

They seemed to be doing quite well in matches when I saw them so I’m unsure as to why it went down.
j35xs going to 10.7 is criminal, its now effectively a lower BR than release. Yes the flight model got gutted but still bs. Something something premium bias (same goes for the j7d ofc), or maybe the amraam viggen isnt selling good enough.
Could have given the j35 double the flare count instead to keep it at 11.0, historical accuracy isnt consistent for premium vehicles anyways :)
XS, no, not unless they fix its FM.
I personally don’t think 6 AIM-9Ps should be at such a low BR but the XS is a hard to balance plane in the first place because of its issues
I tried playing 35xs a bit today to see how it was with the new br and it seemed to mostly get sucked into 10.7-11.3 ganes at the time, for me, my servers, and my current time at least
It feels fine atm even in those, but if more than 1 person at a time notices you your kinda dead, especially if slow (Which you will probably be since I think this is the fastest speed bleed I’ve ever seen on any plane I’ve ever played in this game, even when trying to neg g and wide turn to conserve some of it)
They are real, and have been real.
The F-5C was withdrawn from service in 1966. The AN/ALE-40 flare dispensers it has in game didn’t exist until the 1970s. Ergo the F-5C can’t have used them in real life.
Remove its flares and then put it at 10.0 with the rest of the flareless vehicles then I guess is best option thank for your helpfull factcheck
