I just had a base stolen from me in my Su-33 (stock grinding the Su-33 because its a detriment to the team regardless without its R27ER upgrades) by a base bombing F-14.

because bombing bases is the only thing they learned to do while grinding
most of them dont even want to bother with doing A2A from what i have seen
If the missile works in the first place. 50%(probably more) of the AIM-7F launches go in the wrong direction

Its really wierd that Aim-7s and Aim-7 only have this issue.

Even early SARHs such as R-3R doesn’t have this issue in game
I also assumed that missiles like Skyflash jsut have a C&P seeker but they dont seem to have this issue

pulse SARH missiles dont have this issue bc they work in a completely different way
tbf i rarely have issues with aim7 if i launch them correctly - with no friendlies in sight xD
Yeah, im still certain user error plays a part, but i’ve had Skyflash track the correct target, even with multiple teammates relatively close by
How nice of you to post these general stats when said stats don’t account for what type of planes played, and ground kills.

Yeah regarding AIM-7s idk what it is but even with AIM-7P i noticed that they have a tendency to go on random adventures after a target I dont even have locked nor is it remotely anywhere near where i have my radar qued to. This includes a few unfortunate instances were my missile has decided the freindly of to my immediate right is a more important target than the actual threat in front of me.
To my knowledge no other missile in game does this not even early fox 1s
