I’ve been vocal about the F3 going down to 13.0 as well since we all know its underperforming.
I’d say they shouldn’t get it right off the bat since they have the Gripen, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t get it.
The sole reason for this is because the ICE cannot compete against what it faces. And yes, the F3 is in a similar situation, but Britain has a competent platform (Gripen) that Germany does not.
The only reason being for this is because Germany has the TAMs and that other light tank. Although not confirmed, it makes sense it would go to Germany if it were being added.
Once again, “Germany Suffers” requires nuance (the thing the Internet fears the most).
Its no doubt Germany is factually suffering in TT ARB and underperforming in CAS for GRB.
Not to mention denials of additions that have been reported but are dormant with no progress. No x2 PARs launchers on the outer pylons for the UHT, no cannon variant/modification for the UHT, and PARs being inconsistent.
Air: gen 3 platform that no one plays, should’ve been added years ago, and was DOA on dev.
GRB: IDS having GBUs on a terrible platform while other nations get jets with better ordinance and receiving a C&P premium variant of the Su22m4. A jet I don’t think anyone ever sees being used for CAS. We asked for a better Tornado variant (or CAS jet) with better capabilities but only got crumbs. I haven’t even mentioned the IDS getting a ASSTA 3.1 modification for LJDAMs (which are not that much better for CAS than regular GBUs).

There has to be some consistency here. Seen folks demanding the strv 122s for mbts as well and its ridiculous to demand that. Or an f22 before america gets it.
They need a top tier capable air craft agreed, a Swiss f18 would be a nice unique addition.
But the ice and tornado f3 shouldnt be moving dowk at all its literally how to recompress the game and kill entire brackets.

Yeah. I had a full blown argument with a German main that was like
“Typhoon is German, its coming to Germany first and maybe Italy and Britain will get it like 6 months later, but they dont need it”
I also think there was a German main somewhere that forgot Italy even operated the Typhoon and was suggesting they could get the Spanish Typhoon somewhere in the future

and here upcoming update Sweden will get AMRAAM Viggen as premium German get stupid SU-22 instead
and it still long ways before Eurofighter

The other way to look at it though is this:
Viggen Di / Sea harrier FA2 could and perhaps should have come as Mig-29G counters and coming so late was worse. F4F ICE is way stronger than both.
Both Britain and Sweden had to wait 12 months for anything equal to the F-16 or Mig-29, Germany only had to wait 3. Likelyhood is that htey will get F-18 or Typhoon in 6 weeks time and now can enjoy the ICE in an under BRed state until then
Also Sweden is only now getting a equal to any of Germanys now 3 premiums. I still really want a CAS premium for Britain

If Germany gets the F18 in December we’ll get a good jet and is what should happen. If they add Eurofighter in December then the pendulum swings the opposite way and it’d be very likely that Germany, Italy and the UK teams will completely roflstomp the other teams.
Like a Gripen that has been given daily injections of medical steroids and pure meth.
The general consensus from the US mains seems to be that the F-18 will be downgrade over the F-15C let alone the F-15E.
Also, that likely means Canadian F-18s for the UK and Spanish F-18s for Italy (only solution I can think of for Italy), along with F-18 for Sweden via Finland.
No idea what or even if France would get anything in Decemebr without Rafale.
Would kinda suck to end another year with a mass C&P from another nation. So hoping for Typhoon. I dont think its actually any meaningful ability ahead of F-15E and might even have some limitations that make it worse (like BOL + High thrust making it a IR Missile magnet)
The canadian vehicles are just german vehicles in canadian service. The rest are remnants of when germany was an axis tree instead of just germany.
When germany finally got the mig29 it was post fm nerf and not nearly as potent though. Even when people say the 29g was the “best” mig29, that wasn’t even true as the smt has many advantages over the 29g.
It was still slinging R-73s and R-27ERs vs Viggen D/Tornado F3 with Aim-9L and Skyflash (and for the Viggen that was Skyflash DFs not even the SuperTEMPs that stood a slim chance) , all while being faster and more maneuvable.
Also, the meta was WVR IR slinging not BVR back then with the 100m MP (even now with 50m MP, its not properly usable)
The mig they got 3 months after never had r73. The only german mig to get r73 was the 29g and that was 6 months after the they got the mig29. Also a patch after ussr got the smt, just like they had to wait for the 29 9.12a and got stuck with just a ids tornado like the brits. Like sure, the brits have had it worse for the most part, but they still got the SAAF gripen and just because someone has it worse doesn’t mean germany is doing well in top tier air.
