F-2A ADTW shouldnt go lower, what should happen is all these 13.3 premium Su-30s to go to 13.7 (I dont even know why chinese Su-30MKK with 6 PL-12s sits at 13.3 while J-11B is 13.7) and the other ARH carrier planes such as J37DI. F-16A, AV-8 to go to 13.3, and more decompression overall
F-2A ADTW except good radar and airframe and “best” (im saying “best” since I had them go for a flare or missile rear aspect with enemy afterburner on) its literaly outshined by every Su-27/30 series (ADTW should be facing Su-27/33), would be fair to face mostly 13.0-12.7 planes rather than what I have experienced (in 300 matches got only 5 downtiers, YES I COUNTED THEM)

F-2A ADTW is by far one of the best airplanes in battle rating 13.0 (using realistic battles as reference), the problem is the constant of uptiers bringing this airplane from SARH territory to ARH territory which is by far the most used reason directly or indirectly to justify that this airplane is underperforming. Instead of one airplane having the battle rating decreased, and as a Premium accessible with a quick transaction would install F-2A ADTW as a overperforming vehicle thus causing its battle rating increase again. The proper answer to this issue is decompression.

no it should not be 12.7
it is infinitely better than the best 12.7 aircraft and is still strong at 13.0, I would honestly say it’s easily one of the best
it literally has the second best radar in the bracket
this is plenty of ammunition
This is also plenty of countermeasures, we have aircraft at 14.3 with 72 countermeasures
the wiki is not to be trusted, these people tend to be morons with barely two functioning braincells
Upsides:
- the single best flight model in the bracket (only the gripen really offers competition in a dogfight)
- the second best radar in the bracket (only Kfir C.10 is better due to having HMD)
- Strong missile kit, AAM-3s are an amazing missile, excellent range and good IRCCM when it comes to top-down shots, sparrows although not being fox-3s or an R-27ER are definitely good enough. A smart player will get a good few kills with them
- the gun is good, 500 rounds is normal for that kind of gun, have you ever played an F-16 before?
Downsides:
- AIM-7M, the only downside I really see on this plane is the AIM-7. it lacks DL which means you have to make each shot count more, it is difficult to get a relock on an enemy but that’s really the only downside of the aircraft.
- lack of HMD, overall not an issue. There are aircraft at higher brs without HMD and the F-2 can still perform really well without it
in conclusion the F-2 is an amazing plane, it has a high skill floor due to enemies having better long-range missiles, but a player who is smart and knows how to maximize the performance of AIM-7s along with some goofy missile mechanics like TRK MEM and relocking sparrows they can do exceptionally well
I myself have a 1.8KS with it in just over 400 games.
definitely would be higher if you gave it to me again with my previous experience using it along with a 13.3 flanker-free environment.

As someone with experience not only in this plane, but the rank and weaponry. It should have a normal PD search mode, if the radar historically had one.
Anyway, that saying; it’s fine at 13.0, essentially a better Gripen, minus the HMD.

The F-2A ADTW is a strong choice at BR 13.0, but it requires a bit more skill than other ARH-equipped aircraft at this BR. Its AESA radar, AAM-3, and powerful airframe are a masterpiece. The 7M Sparrows are what they are, but they usually reach their target :))
PS: This does not change the fact that the BR still requires decompression, and throws at 13.7-14.0 are painful, but as you can see from previous player comments, this aircraft can be flown effectively in all conditions.
I am a very average player, maybe even a little weak, but you have very large gaps in your skills and you are a weak player @TIGER_TANK_1 . I recommend that you watch how other good players play on YouTube (Gamerinoo, DEFYN, angrytexan88, Bad Karma etc.) and learn from them. That’s what I do :)
