As GunJob said FRAF, and Flanker FV2 for that matter, are explicitly not a real aircraft; FRAF stands for something like Future Russian Air Frame. The basic premise is that NATO intelligence analysts create a designation, then assign to it the best performance figures they think Russia could conceivably achieve within a given timeframe (e.g. 5, 10, 15, 20 years).
They then compare their own equipment to that hypothetical vehicle; in order to inform strategic decisions. Stuff like:
Our new vehicle will enter service in 10 years time so how good will it need to be to compete with what we expect the Russians to have in 10 years time?
Or
In 20 years time Russia could have a vehicle which completely outclasses our vehicle so we need to have a replacement ready by then
So the performance figures are very high for FRAF, but that is by design. The analysts look at the best (or worst - depending on your outlook) reasonably possible scenario, and use that to plan for so that can (hopefully) always be one step ahead of the competition.
They do the same thing with tanks too. For example In the mid-late 1980s NATO were designing their tanks (Challenger 2, M1A2, Leopard 2A5) to defeat “FST2” (Future Soviet Tank 2) which was their estimate for a tank the soviets might be able to field by the mid-late 1990s, and were already discussing how to deal with FST3 (Future Soviet Tank 3), which was what they thought the Soviets would be able produce by the mid-late 2000s.
Maybe, good acceleration would mean it would be able to get into good poistion much faster and launch AMRAAMS at much faster speed and for some reason AMRAAMs feel good when launched at faster speed

Won’t be that much better, IMO. It’ll get up to Mach 1.5+ faster, of course, but the Rafale or Eurofighter won’t be that far behind.
Which again, won’t really matter if the AMRAAM is launched at Mach 1.5 or even Mach 2 when every Euro delta will have Meteor.
(Will be fun to experiment with top-down detection of 5th gen fighters, that’s for sure)
We’ll have to wait and see, but generally speaking, we should still be able to detect it within normal BVR ranges (50 km and below), at least going by how radar detection currently works ingame (looking at you, missiles on radar). Whether or not a missile actually tracks it head on is a different story. Even with a headon ARH missile launch against the F-117, for example, the missile can still fail to track and miss sometimes.

The missile in question when I saw it happen was the R-77, so we can assume literally every missile barring the Phoenixes or Fakour and MICA (unless proven otherwise).

in this regard EFT may be the best as it has the biggest radar of the 3 eurocanards iirc. but still, 50km is hopeful for the EFT in front aspect.
the latest russian jets L band arrays will probably help them a little too
its not necessarily about radar size alone, its about transmit power and the way targets are detected and processed

I mean, any radar with enough power could theoretically detect it further or at similar ranges. I suspect that to trade for detection range, AESAs will have a stable lock/detection and PESAs will have further detection but less stable lock. M-scan radars would be a few pegs below that.

I don’t know alot about radars but LPI stands for low probability of intercept radar right? How would that help in detection? Shouldn’t it only track other jets without being detected by RWR?
