I believe that we still haven’t gotten far enough in the game for 5th generation aircraft, we first need to wait for the most recent and modernised 4.5th gen aircraft

Well to begin with. These radar sides but these doesnt matter irl as pretty much the us fleet are always backed up by awacs.
But on 1 to 1 fight they can be advantage.
There is also the defense package which i think the f35 have it but i am not sure, which are the deployable jammer in the countermeasures pod. Not the forget the ldircm being unique on a 5th gen.
As for the last is the weapons. That being the amount of weapon it can internaly but that comes with a cost of rcs
But have nearly the double amount of it while not sacrifice the stealth.
We pretty much got these aside from some exceptions like the EX, what we don’t have is their modern weapons.

No i didnt want examples. Im just saying that “look this plane has stuff no one elses plane does” is not necessarily an argument that a plane (or the industry behind it) is more advanced. Usually when youre doing things no one else does its either because youre the only one who can do it (which is good) or because no one else wants to do it (which is usually for good reasons).

EW is pretty much non-existen yeah, and I don’t look forward to Gaijin’s modeling of jamming pods and such, it’s either gonna be RNG or untargetable.

Idk if the jammers will be on throughout the whole match or if we’ll need to turn it on. If we need to turn it on I’m going to mow need to make another keybind for it nooooo
For the sake of keybinds I hope it’s just an On/off switch, I’m running low on combinations and if they will need more than one I’m cooked.
It’s true that interactive radars with mouse cursor and such exist, but I hate having to use ALT +… I can’t control the jet that way.
