First of all, this topic was originally about F/A-18A and F/A-18C (Early) at 12.3-12.7BR.
OP was mindlessly defending that it is fine to be 12.3 because it doesn’t have R-27ER.
(Which is also a doomed claim.)

IF F18A stays 12.7 F14A deserves to be dropped

F14A is forced to ditch sparrows for AIM54A which is silly

F14A peak loadout is 4 aim 9H 4 aim 7F
with decent FM model and heat signature of sun and weak radar
F/A-18A
6 aim9L and 4 AIM7F
better FM with poor TWR but the TWR can be overcome by energy management
and better Radar as AWG-9 is horrible

The radar on the f-18 is the worst i’ve ever yet tried, it has a short range, loves chaff and gets spoofed by simply flying between 70 and 120 degrees sideways to the lock beam. The aim120s are less chaff resistant than the aim7d once they go pitbull.

Yeah, if J-7D and MiG-21bis need to be the same BR as he claimed
It needs to be done in a way to send J-7D up to 11.0 and tie with 21Bis
not the way to send 21Bis down to 10.7 and rain hell to those flareless jets like Jaguar GR.1 or T-2…

Su-25 with 2x R-60M has already become a nightmare to flareless jets in downtiers, there is no way that keeping a supersonic jet with triple the amount of R-60M in 10.7
