F-16I Sufa: The Negev Storm

why? if the devs already did that or just some nations could get that kind of treatment?.

“Battle ratings are not fixed. if the sufa do not perform accordingly at 14.0 then its always a possibility its BR can change”

  • and then with this they keep evading the addition of Python-4, a 13.7 BR would not solve ANYTHING smin.

  • the current best possible loadout its not in the jet, the BEST CURRENT possible loadout for it would be Python-4s and AIM-120Bs but our devs keeps ignoring the OG loadouts and armament when there is no reason for that.

  • No, its not inline with other 14.0 and 14.3 aircraft and if you need some live proof of that you are invited to see a 1v1 BVR and BFM combat to see the difference against a Rafale, Typhoon, F-15E/I, M2K when the update comes out.

Wdym thos missiles p5 iant on par with aim9x irist and such

I dont think smin has the time for a 1v1 but ill take his place if you want

As I have already answered you several times now, nothing was intentionally introduced with “nerfed IRCCM” and there are no plans now to introduce more advanced missiles at this time with “nerfed IRCCM”

I do not personally decide BRs and they are not decided with “just 1 vs 1 me bro”.

They are set initially with the aircrafts main peers and capabilities in mind and later can be changed according to how the aircraft performs statistically.

Im speechless

You mean like the F-5T, which is still missing AAMs on the outer underwing pylons that were added by the preceding upgrade? The double standards go crazy.

True but when i comes to live match those are the planes that your matched with at 13.7 and 14.0 and the f16c doesnt survive that most of the time
I doubt the f16i would survive that either with or without maws
Currently i barely see anyone play the f16c blk 50 or the blk 40 because they have a better alternative which is the f15i
I ve been playing the F 2a and the things i face the most are either su 27 in my br bracket or lower and at top tier its su 30 but mostly rafale f15e and eft and not a single f16c in sight
Now since the adf and mlu got aim 120 they are more popular rn

Gaijin has never once introduced a missile based on existing knowledge in a state that was worse than existing knowledge.

Not only did Smin just state it here:

But I was there when bug reporters were researching Magic 2s preparing a bug report for it to GET IRCCM, not a specific IRCCM, but to get it period.

AAM-3 was similar but more recent.
And if PL-8B and PL-5E-II are wrong, those are the same situation too.

All missiles introduced with incorrect IRCCM were introduced with existing knowledge at the time of believing to be correct by the developer. They were wrong, and now they are incorrect but have to stay incorrect if their IRCCM makes them as good as next gen IR missiles.

no, you dont personally decide the BRs thats for sure but the devs yes and they have the most horrendous takes for this.

and yes sadly to see how capable a jet is we need to match it with something more superior to see how it can defend itself against the worst of the situations, there is nothing better than the classic BVR and BFM combat to prove it. soo… yea that “just 1 vs 1 me bro” would say it all about how the jet performs. im some days am about to prove what the devs added to the game dont worry.

Would the devs consider giving it the option to take AIM-120B’s or Derby’s? I know the 120B’s at least are historically accurate, I don’t know about the Derby’s.

The general consensus is that 120Cs are kinetically a downgrade in every situation that isn’t extreme range BVR which isn’t really a meaningful upside with the current ease of defeating the active radar seekers in game.

As a matter of personal preference I prefer Derby’s to any variant of AIM-120 as well so that would be nice to see if it’s possible.

Tbh i think he is right
1v1 isnt the same as arb
Mainly cuz 6 missiles is ok in a 1v1 but in arb its a big flaw

Derby is broken so i would rather 120b
If u do high g lunch it will lose the lock before it hits the target and not even go iog like a complete miss

i have to disagree 1v1 scenarios is the best way to see all the limitations that the jet have in every department. match 2 good pilots 1 in a rafale 1 in a sufa and you will find the truth. thats what about to happen soon.

Usually in a 1v1 you would carry 2 ir 2 arh to be as lightweight as possible also you bring a reasonable amount of fuel to compensate
Cant really test the overall performance of a jet
The only thing you test is the fm and its limits

Its true for airframe or smt but in modern jets u have pros and cons that doesnt shows on 1v1

Like missile count ,maw ,cm count and maybe more

Thats what im saying

no, the way i do and good testers do the test of top tier jets is literally a representation of an ARB match in a 1v1 scenario, the quantity of fuel that you normaly use, all the missiles you can bring, this is the way i do and more testers do tests, missile count, CMs count, MAWs and many other things are into consideration and plays an important role during the whole test. there is custom maps for this kind of tests.

Yeah but this is a controlled environment
Arb is more chaotic and much more unfair
Makes it better to test things
But i find it quite pointless because its performance at top tier is going to end up being the same as all other f16 at 13.7 facing 14.0+
The f16 ends up overwhelmed because it constantly has to defend
F16i is gonna be better at it because it gets large caliber flares and chaff but when you get pressed by a f15e or a rafale or an eft it doesn’t really matter
If you succeed at defendind and you manage to get to the merge with enough energy you will still lose on the rate fight 2 cercle and 1 cercle
Maybe you have a change against a mirage or an f15e but very unlikely considering they got buffed recently on dev

BR suitability and armament aside, it’s beautiful and I love it. I’d buy the netz to grind Israel air if it weren’t so poop. I’ll have to do the grind the old fashioned way. I’ll let you all know in roughly 6 months how I’m going 🥲
