F-16 Fighting Falcon: History, Performance & Discussion

Is AN/ALQ-189(v)9 ever produced and integrated to any aircraft?

Yes ,Taiwanese Block 5x’s and some USAF-ANG units (Block -25 & -30).

Oh yeah, ROCAF and ANG squadrons got them.
Surprised to see theres even a MWS modification to this pod

Just came over the RR-180/AL, which is the same size as RR-188 or RR-170A (1*1) we now have for ALE-47 but double their chaff capacity.

For ALE-47, RR-188/RR-170A takes up to 30Chaff per dispenser.
RR-180/AL it’s 60Chaff per dispenser.

F-15 with ALE-45 might also benefit from that

Could be a buff maybe? Really depends on Gaijin

Is there any good F-16 left that has not been added yet? (Besides block 60)

Look it up

GBU-53b is coming, when will US F-16s get their wet points capable of carrying smart weapons, so we could get access to more GBU-53bs or at least LJDAMs.

Block30 with GE132, which is a dogfight machine. XD

Nice, what Br would it be? 13.7?

Maybe, it’s got Block50 comparable avionics

13.3 bc no HMD

HMS would not define a whole BR decrease

F-16A ADF
6 amraams no HMD

no IRCCM sidewinders + lower CM count

He really has no idea

i do know

but i cant remember the last time i went for IR missiles on either the F-16C or F-16A ADF

and gameplay wise the biggest difference is the missing HMD

No it’s the x45 counter measures and no HMS, not to mention lower power bc of PW-220, plus the slightly weaker radar

and yet the ADF still has a higher top speed bc its less draggy due to the smaller air intake, not to mention its better flight performance bc its not as heavy

That doesn’t matter very much

then the better engine on the f16c dosent matter either bc the F-16ADF will reach Mach 1.2 before the F-16C

and has a higher top speed at high alt as well
