The Norwegian F-16 is pretty much the copypaste from the Belgian F-16 btw, the only big differences is the CAS Loadout and HMD UI.
Considering the upgraded avionics, backseat and the addition of dorsal spine, the Sufa should be heavier than a normal Block50/52 despite the reduction of internal fuel.
Is it too light or the Block50 heavier than it should be?
I’m personally prone to the former.
Annoying how the swedish f-16 gets only 45 cms when the belgian f-16 gets the exact same model (also has 45 cm dispensers on the physical model itself) but it has 120 cms in game for some reason
Does anyone have any high definition photos of the belly of the Norwegian F-16AM?
Report for Scorpion for Belgian F-16AM since nobody made one in that time
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/rtnS2L8FkXYf
somebody should also do one for norwegian because it currently has elbit targo instead of JHMCS
hopefully they will be nice (or sorta insane) and let the f16c take 12 mavs (its not like they are good enough this would be too big of an issue)
the inner pylons can definitely take the weight, and it looks like there is plenty of clearance
but even just adding agm 130 there would be a big upgrade
And the inner pylons are also tested with 4*HARM configuration, that could be a useful loadout in warthunder when ARMs arrive

It would just be able to carry a single additional AGM-65 per pylon, like the Thai F-16 OCU can carry 8 in total, along with other things like GBU-31, and most importantly, 8 additional GBU-39 and GBU-53 (when added) like the F-16I Sufa should be able to.
The sweedish one is also more modern IRL
The Belgian and Norwegian* F-16AMs were born from the same modernization program, they are for all intents and purposes, identical irl
and still dont have Radar HMD because Gaijin
yet one has radar hmd and one doesn’t.
Irl they both have it
I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen renewed calls for SADL to be added to the F-16C since the EFT received HMD IFF
F-16C missing SADL
Its still sitting around as a “suggestion” despite 2 airframes within the F-16C’s BR range (Rafale F3R and Eurofighters) now having access to a TDL function like SADL provides
I guess it doesn’t effect air RB players though, so that’s probs why nobody cares
the thing is IIRC JHMCS should also be able to have the HMD IFF, gaijin just hasnt given it to it
so everything with JHMCS should get the IFF display not just F16C
jhmcs should’ve been the first hmd to receive it when it first dropped like 3 years ago… its just typical gaijin laziness
idk if its gaijin being lazy, or if gaijin GENUINLY believes that HMD IFF works off the magic of friendship and unicorn farts, cuz you can literally see in that SADL bug report that they say TDL’s arent a thing in-game, when they very much were with the Scorpion HMD back at the time.
Question of proving it to gaijin. EFT only got its HMD IFF when a pic of what the HMD IFF looks like was provided in a bug report iirc.
Is the Block40 and 50 a bit overweight?
Statshark shows
Block50 has the empty mass of 9031kg.
And 8860kg for D variant Block40.
I found some websites claiming they weigh less than 9000kg,(8400-8600kg to be more exact)
Also the aircraft operating weight for C Block50 is 19261lbs including pilot, oil, oxygen,
unusable fuel, and tip missile launchers.
Though stated as an approximate number in the HAF manual, it’s already lighter than the in game Block50 which is 19909.92lbs.
And I cant include it in my post here(thx kitsune)
However iirc the HAF manual is restricted for bug reporting, do you guys have some more sources for this?

Scroll for weight, though doesn’t give a specific version block/number other than c.
