the thing is IIRC JHMCS should also be able to have the HMD IFF, gaijin just hasnt given it to it
so everything with JHMCS should get the IFF display not just F16C

jhmcs should’ve been the first hmd to receive it when it first dropped like 3 years ago… its just typical gaijin laziness
idk if its gaijin being lazy, or if gaijin GENUINLY believes that HMD IFF works off the magic of friendship and unicorn farts, cuz you can literally see in that SADL bug report that they say TDL’s arent a thing in-game, when they very much were with the Scorpion HMD back at the time.
Question of proving it to gaijin. EFT only got its HMD IFF when a pic of what the HMD IFF looks like was provided in a bug report iirc.
Is the Block40 and 50 a bit overweight?
Statshark shows
Block50 has the empty mass of 9031kg.
And 8860kg for D variant Block40.
I found some websites claiming they weigh less than 9000kg,(8400-8600kg to be more exact)
Also the aircraft operating weight for C Block50 is 19261lbs including pilot, oil, oxygen,
unusable fuel, and tip missile launchers.
Though stated as an approximate number in the HAF manual, it’s already lighter than the in game Block50 which is 19909.92lbs.
And I cant include it in my post here(thx kitsune)
However iirc the HAF manual is restricted for bug reporting, do you guys have some more sources for this?

Scroll for weight, though doesn’t give a specific version block/number other than c.
Thx.
Besides does local host provide wing loading or wing area statistics that I can refer to? (I haven’t tried yet)
I was doing some math with data I get from Statshark,
Mass/Wing Loading and I get the wing area.
The results I get suggests Block50 and Block10
(which I used for comparison) share the same wing area of 27.9 ㎡, roughly the area of the primary wing
afaik due to the nature of relaxed stability, the horizontal stabilizer of F-16 also provides upward lift as the primary wing does, so it should also be regarded as wing area, yes?
I assume the wing loading of F-16 family is higher than it should be cause Gaijin ignored this part?
Unsure
No
How come,
that’s a bit confusing to me lol
Because tail lift is not constant unlike a wings lift
understood, ty
Has anyone else noticed the Dynamic Launch Zone HUD symbols are gone now?
All F-16 blocks should have JDAM and by extension LJDAM and JDAM-ER (with LJDAM module)
now that more planes have SPICE bombs
where tf is GBU-53
Their existence is marketing lies
it seems to be gone when TGP is attached
Kinda ridiculous that USAF in WT is stuck on Mavericks and SDB I for A-G ordnance.
Spice 250 beats GBU-39 in every aspect.
Mavericks are kinda jokes compared with AASMs
Not to mention KH-38MT, just another category lol
Not to say the gaming experience is totally unplayable, but it just loses competitiveness since others get stronger counterparts.
I wish JAGM-MR could be fired on all USAF crafts lol.

I made a bug report about it
wow, another plane is getting spice 250s
if they arent going to add GBU-53 they can at least give US jets SPICE bombs
report for everything getting the new JHMCS symbology that the F-18’s got on the dev server
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/S2kNXLUkeA7m
and rightly closed because not everything uses f18 style symbology and you gave no sources
