Statshark tells me F-16I somehow has better maneuverbility than F-16C. How is that possible?
I don’t have the Sufa so I wonder how PW229 performs on an F-16.
It seems to be more consistent at high speed and altitudes.
Sufa is currently lighter than the f16c lol.
Waiting for smin to get back from his honeymoon (congrats btw) so that I can get him to look at my bug report for the 16i being 1100kg underweight
@Smin1080p_WT can you tell me why this report wasn’t looked at? At least I would like to have a not a bug so that I can improve on the report
The F-15E was made by razbam iirc, the same people who made the Mirage 2000 the vehicle with the highest sustained turn rate in DCS - such a UFO that it is banned in most ACM dogfight servers.
I imagine they’d have their reserves about correctly modeling and aircraft that should beat the brakes off their beloved mirage…
Tbf they admitted that the Mirage 2000 was made based on given datapoints since there’s lack of primary STR charts for the Mirage 2000. It wasn’t until it was too late for them to do anything about the Mirage 2000’s when secondary sources started being available. The way they modeled the Mirage 2000 is vastly different than how they worked on the F-15E>
It doesn’t really make sense that an F-15E would be gapped by F-16C and F-15C though
It makes sense when you realize that DCS flight models do not have any kind of single unified standard and the accuracy of models heavily varies depending on the developer and when it was made.
Indeed, the 15e made by razbam (RIP) and the 16c by eagle dynamics themself
Razbam has the MiG-23ML on the chopped block as well, shouldn’t let them keep on cookin’.
