thats true, maybe not adding any new planes but upgrading existing ones and increasing the br cap would be doable tho, maybe 15.3/15.7 once they add stuff like the 9x, ive been saying for a while that they should have permanently lowered player counts for high br matches once they added fox 3s, or it would just become a missile spam fest, all theyve done is add an option for smaller matches which doesnt even work 95% of the time. adding next gen ir into the current game would be pretty annoying on top of the infinite fox 3 spam. i think they should really consider lowering player counts to maybe 6v6/8v8/10v10 at most, for high brs

i really did just expect them to come along with 5th gens, because theres no chance they add an f22 with 9ms or something stupid like that, so if next gen ir isnt ready, i really dont even want 5th gens yet

^It happened around March of this year, it was on a non-dev stream so it might’ve been missed by many.
Is F-15EX FM, acceleration and top speed correct? (I have not played dev at all and don’t really know but the videos make it look fantastic, but i have a feeling that it is over preforming)

doesnt feel overperforming to me, just feels like an f15e with stronger engines really, which is exactly what it is

FM worse than F-15E, but yes with the better engines it seems to actually be a bit worse than it should be considering it doesn’t hit 2.497

after that drag/engine nerf way back when the f15e first got added, its never been able to hit mach 2.5 anymore which is a little unfortunate
Not to mention gaijin can’t seem to figure out how to model its advanced fvw features that make it move as it does irl, all the airshow displays of the 15QA which is the basis for the EX are telling enough
The KH-31PD, which I’ve used most just uses a Ramjet, so that’s to be expected, it lofts high then cruises at mach 4 until terminal guidance kicks in

And just because it’s a ramjet doesn’t mean it cruises at it’s absolute maximum speed
Kinda funny you can carry basically anything on the wings but god forbid you want an extra 2x AMRAAM on each wing with the existing 8 on inner pylons xD

yea it can absolutely take amraams there but we’ll have to deal with 9ms for now i guess
It isn’t that powerful, there are still minimum speed requirements for the Kh-31, even past these the missiles will lose a lot of range from burning fuel inefficiently to get to cruise speed and altitude
It’s got a gigantic solid fuel thruster for said boost phase, not sure where you’re getting this ‘it’s not powerful’ rhetoric from
