And? One F-15EX did have them, we know all the wiring and cooling and power for them is still there on all the EX’s, that should be enough

lmao I just realised the Boeing render doesn’t even include the protruding front parts for the maws, they have the back part for some reason though lol

EX-1 at least had rear hemisphere sensors during production.
They have the back part because that is just what every new build F-15 for over a decade has looked like
AGM-88A/C when launched at high altitude from a Hornet (so there’s room for improvement) already is battery limited, not kinematics limited when going out of your way and fishing for those hat trick 120km+ shots against EWRs.
Kh31 strength came from not range, but ability to yeet them from airfield after you’ve cleared treeline, with distance to target being ±40km and missile could impact target with motor still burning. 6 missile off, turn around, bellyslam on airfield to rearm as soon as possible, rinse and repeat this team wide DDOS attack on Bluefor AA.
Should Eurofighters, Rafales and F-15s also carry 6-8 older HARMs, Bluefor would be able to return the favor despite having missile from previous era. Instead you need to grab rather unpopular aircrafts (F-16, F/A-18) to get more than two.

That actually is kinda what bothers me, why add it to both nations at the same time, if they hadn’t just got the rafale I wouldn’t question it. But especially if theirs literally no info on the IA on top of the very vague details we have on the EX. what documents did they get there hands on to decide they knew enough to add the IA or decide it got maws to begin with or if it didnt.

If memory serves me right it should have like mach 1 minimum launch speed for ramjet to start properly?
At the same time “cruise” missiles pull fuel out of their intradimensional ass, burning for like 10 minutes, albeit they are usually subsonic in average speed.

yea i saw, he only said “no f22 this year”, maybe he meant to say “this update” because im not sure why it would be oxy of all people to deny the f22 for this year
