I doubt next gen IR with next patch maybe the February update with them, having buffs planned for aim9’s and r-27et and there current buff to the r-73 I think we have a little bit.
(little conspiracy of mine is we got the r-73 buff first before other ir missiles because the r-74 wouldn’t be game braking like IIR competitors it would just be a mix of r73 and r27et.)

I’m pretty sure there isn’t document saying the F-15EX specifically could use MRLM but since we can prove that it’s compatible, it got it.

there really isnt anything big they could do for the next patch aside from 5th gens that i can think of, submarines? ecm? infantry? they all seem a little too small for the winter update imo

Well there are also the other 2 advanced eagles. And the F-15EX MAWS RFP specifically mentioned they had alll the existing power, cooling, wiring, etc still there on the MAWS locations

I actually used that exact example earlier, all Apache’s kept the internal wiring and tech to simply undergo minor modification and a software interfacing to use them if they did theoretically procured them hence why Gaijin added them,( plus balancing of course.)
The Ex and IA should follow the same ruling IMO as the EX IIRC is said to kept the internal components and wiring for the system but decided not to procure the sensors at the moment. so would likely require the exact same changes as aAH-64E to use its new Countermeasure/RWR systems.

Im thinking we’re getting a major EW update for the last one of the year, seeing as EW decoys like ADM-141 and ADM-160 have been added in the files, along with the fact the EA-18G Growler was passed to the devs earlier in the year. I think we’re all set for a major EW update, and I expect that to come before IIR missiles or 5th gen jets.

Yeah and it would make sense before 5th gens as 4.5++ and things like the Su57 and f35 rely on them heavily for defense in the modern age so we surely have to get it before 5th gens , and longer range or better ARH seeker changes are made or added, in my mind.
Even I think that we would get ECM/EW for December update, we also got accidently got control to deploy towed radar decoy for dev server of last update
Putting irl circumstances aside, your best bet for MAWs on the EX is if it remains on the IA.
