No, that’s a misconception stemming from remarks about the possibility of destroying ships while they are in port. There is no evidence whatsoever that it is capable of hitting moving targets using a TV or IR seeker.

End of the day, China already has access to YJ-91s, so the reason I requested the CM400 is for it’s standoff GPS and PRH seeker for SEAD/DEAD in nuclear escalation
Yes, I would also like to have the CM-400 for SEAD, but I was simply pointing out an inconsistency

its probably my most played plane this year in sim and i consistently kill MCM er with alot of my success coming from the radar and MAWS
not my best game in the ef2k but against a team for mcming j16s and su30sm2s while in outnumberd to me its kinda fine
am still kinda rusty from my warthunder break :(

ESM missing completely? possibility of MAWS because it’s really not that powerful of a feature but nice to have, and technical compatibility is how we got the su30SM2 that is better than an su35? swept wings damage model being unfinished? I feel like honestly the dev server should be extended by at least a few days

That’s a nice 90° large flat surface on the side of the aircraft with many angles and places for waves to scatter, that will surely maintain the same radar reflection as a clean configuration.

All info on PL-16 suggests it’s a compressed PL-15, rumors have it that it possesses an improved motor, but there is absolutely nothing to suggest china has deployed a next gen BVRAAM called PL-16

Well that could be one of the parts that has its construction changed, RAM, composite, or both.
Won’t matter for jets like F-15EX though
AIM-260 and AIM-424 are in service on the F-15EX, trust me
I’m not a missile engineer but the PL-15 isn’t that old. I don’t see how the PL-16 can be smaller, lighter and have a 50% increase in range. The AIM-120 is 30 years old but the AIM-260 is still at least as big to get better range.
