of course now that they added fantasy pylons to other planes, they should also add AMBER because there is more evidence for that than some theyve already added

i can live with 12 for now, if they adjusted the FM at bit, maybe reducing its drag a bit so it can accelerate a little better between M1 and M1.6 it would be perfect
It’s going to be outright worse than it was to play, sure 12 missiles but now your opponents are much stronger than they used to be. St least they did something to it.
Yes, it’s true, but it’s many times better in terms of implementation than the F/A-18E.
It will probably still not be super meta like the Rafale/AESA EFT/SM2, but it’s still nice for it to have 12 missiles.
At this point better something than nothing.

With the precedent change MRMLs cause, I can see wacky things on older airframes now.

MRMLs were added in line with the precedent set by the Su-27SM. It didn’t change anything.
The F-15CGE demonstrated close enough theoretical possibilities to operate MRML racks, and they’re needed for balance.
The Su-27SM didn’t even demonstrate dual rack R-77s to that extent, but it got them for balance anyways.

That’s only true if you have an Su-27SM2/3 manual that clarifies weapon loads.
If you don’t, then your post is speculation.
Su-27SM2/3 is also newer than Su-30MK and Su-35.
Whereas F-15C GE is older than MRMLs.
That’s why this is a precedent change.
You can use newer versions of aircraft to get systems for older versions with the precedent change.
Su-27SM2 was never even built
with the flankers dual pylons, the dual pylons on EFT, and the J10C having the pylons it does
even AMBER would not be a new precedent, if anything there is more evidence for AMBER than other pylons being added to the game

I am now half expecting Su-30MKI to have double rack R-77s if introduced.
Again, I do not oppose this standard they’ve shifted toward. I don’t really care what that rules are on this matter, only that they’re applied to everything.
