Why should the US get something when everyone else already has it? Or did I miss how everyone was already given missiles similar to the Kh-38MT? Or how everyone was given aircraft with IR jammers like the Su-39? Why should the US get weapons after everyone else?
I’ve been flying the F-15 Golden Eagle since it was added, and I honestly can’t understand the reasoning behind introducing it this late in the game while leaving it in such an underwhelming state.
For an aircraft with the reputation of the F-15, you’d expect strong energy retention, competitive missiles, and at least some advantages in BVR or sustained maneuvering. Instead, it feels sluggish compared to its counterparts, bleeds energy way too fast, and struggles to hold its own against aircraft that have been in the game far longer and perform noticeably better.
My question to the devs is: why add such a heavily-underperforming aircraft at this point in the game’s development?
Was the intention to introduce it in a balanced state but something went wrong?
Are there planned fixes or performance adjustments on the way?
Only confirmed ““buff”” is irst pod and even if it gets added it’s not 14.3 material and barely 14.0 worthy they’ve also been extremly dodgy with mrml instead of outright giving it when it was obvious it would under perform
Your confusing cruise missile with a2g short range missile. Yes they need new missile like the kh38 but not a cruise missile.
Usa tree is not priority at all. They dont get the have thing before other do.
Also every tree has a strong and weak point. Exemple thevlow br og agm65 while other dont get them until 11.7 or dont have them at all. Tanks also.
welp now with the SM2 added out of nowhere the f15GE is officially the worst 14.3 wtf ,maybe just barely better than the f18E both in the US tech tree lmao. All I ask is for the godamn upgrades that should have been on this plane on release that’s not just the legion pod gaijin and you know it.

the worst part of all this is just how easy it would be to make the F15GE competitive, a slight adjustment the the F15 flight model and a new missile rack and boom no more complaints.
But now the F-15CGE will play on one BR against the Su-30SM2.
with a fixed FM and 12 missiles the F15GE would be just as good if not better. (devs wont let that happen tho) i hope they just add 14.7 and leave the F15GE at 14.3
