gaijin doesn’t really care about what something had irl. if they want something to be at a certain BR they intentionally won’t give it it’s advanced weapons for example the L-39ZA not having any missiles so it stays at a low BR

Understandable , right or wrong, but in both IRIAFs and 14Bs case it wouldn’t even affect their BR.
In fact in their BR they should have these weapons.

With that radar? With unfixed engines? With CM count? The RWR?
If anything its only saving grace will be the missiles. It’s not that you’ll have more trouble against it , than against the other 13.0s …
Or , if it’s that much trouble… stay in 4x F90s. But take away the damn R27R it could never fire and give it R-73s it could fire . Or Fatter it usually carried after a point in time.

The Fakour already isnt a good missile, it’s losing the R-27R, and the F-14 platform sucks in close range. You have the hottest engines in the game, an anti-multipath damage model, and the TF-30s. You’re only doing stuff in very isolated one vs one fights.

Seems Iranian F-14A had TF30-P-414A, before USN gets Block 90/95.

Would it be possible to find out if it had either of the SEAM programmers (AN/ASA-63 and ASA-83) fitted?

I’m contacting to the guy who has NAVAIR 01-F14AAA-1(IR) from 15 January 1978.

Hope I can share some interesting stuffs.

The guy who has manual says it is pretty close to the Navy models(-1 and -1A)

Difference is

  • No TCS

  • No PAL mode

  • No tape 111A (iirc some A2G stuffs)

  • No Link 4 DL

  • No ICLS

  • No nav grid

  • No vis fix for INS

  • Different TID symbols (basically worse)

And yes… It still possible to carry AIM-7F and Navy model sidewinders and It explain why they could carry A2A Hawk because they has “unused slots” for sparrows in ROMs.

Also, Fakour 90s are maybe propaganda crap, just like Kh-38MT
