what if it gets 2 more Fakour-90s like F-14A can carry 6 AIM-54s instead of 4?
or upgrading the radar, or giving it the R-73 some people call out it has?
Nobody, and I mean nobody, is spamming multiple fakours at the same guy. They’re doing spam BVR where they target 6 different targets.
It’s also only good at this. Outside of long range BVR the fakour is pretty bad relative to other fox3s
It’s not when it locks a target, it’s when the missile loses datalink with the host aircraft. It can’t be regained. You can still (to my knowledge) give the missile better IOG data so long as u never stopped scanning the target

I think i recall one of the tech guys saying that once it pitbulls, it ignores any input from the jet’s radar.
Maybe i should try to figure out which dude it was and dm to double check

The same could be said when comparing various 13.3s to the premium flankers. Or, even worse, 13.0s to the same. 8x competant ARH missiles should not be a single BR step up from planes still relying on Sparrows, Super 530Ds and IR missiles.
Proper decompression is what’s needed.

Do yall even check to see how far their actually be launched from. Also 12 miles is still a good launch for a f-90 but it’s capable of being notch
if you give it r73, you need to sacriface 2 ARH missile ( the one on the sedjeel )

They get kills maybe 15-20% of the time average.
