But I dont think thats the case at all. the two helis seen in the post are 7152 & 7154, which are the older Mi-35Ps we already have. For instance HS-7154 was the one who took part in the 2020 incident where it caught a Toyota Ertiga and dragged it upwards, so it couldnt be new (footage here if y’all wanna see that)
It could be a refurbishment? but why would they classify it as new then? We’ll have to wait for more info i guess

The Indonesian Air Force revealed the cause of the Sukhoi Su-30 MK2 fighter aircraft out of the runway at Sultan Hasanuddin Land, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, Monday (24/8/2026). Aircraft experience technical constraints on the braking system when undergoing a series of tests after heavy maintenance or overhaul. The incident did not cause any casualties.

from the higher quality photos it seems to only have a grey primer coat as its paint, so it supports it being a test failure

Made this schematic of possible KAI T-50i weapon loadout.
IRL, the T-50i is usually only seen carrying AIM-9s and drop tanks, but it wouldn’t be the first time Gaijin equipped an aircraft with its potential armament (However, I tried to strictly use weapons that are already in the TNI AU’s actual inventory to keep it more or less grounded.)
what could be added/corrected?

V2: added 7x3 FFAR with LAU-131 in TER.
The 15th Air Squadron, as the T-50i operator, uses the smaller 7-tube FFAR launchers, either the LAU-131 or Sari Bahari-made rocket pods.
Up to three LAU-131 could be mounted on a station by using the TER, so in total T-50i could carry 6 LAU-131 launchers (42 FFAR rockets).
I don’t know whether multiple Sari Bahari rocket pods could be mounted on a TER or not.
EDIT: Despite reports by other sources, to date TNI-AU is yet to officially release a statement regarding the exact radar model used by T-50i
